Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Tender For Internally Generated Revenue Projects

 

1.0    Introduction

Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo intends to undertake pre-qualification and tender exercise for the underlisted Internally Generated Revenue Projects. Interested and reputable contractors are hereby invited to forward their documents for the purpose of PRE-QUALIFICATION AND TENDER for the underlisted Projects:

(i)                Construction of Dean’s Block for School of Arts and Social Sciences

(ii)             Rehabilitation/Remodeling of old Mathematics

(iii)           Block for the Department of Economics

(iv)           Renovation of Home  Economics  Department (Home Management Unit)

(v)             Rehabilitation of main Registry Block

 

 

2.0     Pre-Qualification Requirements

Prospective Contractors shall be required to submit the following pre-qualification documents:-

(i)                Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

(ii)             Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years.

(iii)           Evidence of VAT Registration and Remittances

(iv)           Evidence of Company’s audited accounts for three years and its annual turnover

(v)             Evidence of Compliance with Pension Reform Act, 2004.

(vi)           Evidence of similar projects successfully execute with their locations (copies of letters of award to be attached).

(vii)        Technical qualifications and experience of key personnel.

(viii)      Evidence   of Financial   Capability   and Bank Support (attach Bank Reference, Statement o Account etc.).

(ix)           Equipment and Technical Capacity.

 

 

3.0    Tender Requirements

Prospective Contractors shall be required to: Collect tender documents in the Office of the Director, Physical Planning, Works and Services after the payment of a non-refundable Tender fee of N25, 000.00 (Twenty Five Thousand Naira) only

4.0    Submission   of Pre-Qualification/Tender Documents

Pre-qualification and Tender documents should be neatly packed in a sealed envelope marked “Pre-Qualification and Tender for Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) Projects” (INDICATE SPECIFIC PROJECT) at the top left hand corner of the envelope to: The Block, Registrar, Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo and submitted not later than 24th December, 2012 by 12:00noon

5.0    Verification of Claims

Please note that Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo reserves the right to verify claims made in the pre-qualification documents submitted by interested contractors.

An Addendum to the Advertisement of Invitation to Pre-Qualification to Tender for Some Proposed Projects/Consultancy Services

 

Application are hereby invited from reputable and interested Companies with relevant experience and good track record for pre-qualification to tender for the under listed projects.

 

1.0     Profile of Contractors/Consultants

2.0    Pre-Qualification Criteria

The following will prequalify Companies to tender:

(i.)                         Proven capability, relevant experience and good track record.

(ii.)                       Provision of Company profile and organizational structure, including names, resumes, and resumes, and telephone numbers of key personnel

(iii.)                    Provision of Verifiable list of previous similar works successfully executed within the last three years with names of clients, evidence of award and practical completion.

(iv.)                    Evidence of Incorporation of company by the Corporate Affairs Commission (C AC)

(v.)                       Company Tax Clearance Certificates for the last three (3) years.

(vi.)                    Equipment and Technology capacity – Evidence of contact with manufacturers (if any).

(vii.)                  VAT Registration and evidence of past VAT remittances

(viii.)               Experience / Technical qualification of key personnel with copies of certificates

(ix.)                    Audited Annual financial report of the company for the last three (3) years

(x.)                       Evidence of financial strength, credit worthiness / Bank reference and readiness to instruct bankers to supply financial information on the company as may be required

(xi.)                    Evidence of community and social responsibility (if any)

(xii.)                  Evidence of pension contribution for employees as required under section 16 (6) (d) of the Public Procurement Act.

(xiii.)               Evidence of compliance with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Amendment Act, 2011as applicable.

(xiv.)               A sworn affidavit indicating that all documents submitted are genuine and verifiable

(xv.)                  A sworn affidavit that none of the Directors has been convicted in any country for any criminal offence, including fraud or financial impropriety.

(xvi.)                Bidders should include in their bid, a sworn affidavit indicating that no officer of Yaba College of Technology is a former or present Director, Shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the company.

 

3.0   Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents

Bound pre-qualification documents in wax-sealed envelope with “Pre-qualification as Contractor for the (name of project)” at the top left hand corner should be hand- delivered not later than 12noon on Monday, November 19, 2012 to the address below:

4.0     Opening Of Pre-Qualification Documents

Pre-qualification envelopes will be opened at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2012, and representative of companies that submitted bids are hereby invited to witness the opening.

5.0   Notification of Pre-Qualified Bidders

6.0    Collection of Tender

Pre-qualified contractors should note that they will be required to pay a non-refundable tender processing fee often thousand naira only (N10,000) for each project. Tender documents will be available for collection at the Physical Planning Unit, of the College on presentation of evidence of payment of the processing fee.

a.)  Please take particular note of items xii and xiii in the pre-qualification criteria which were inadvertently omitted in the advertisement detailed in (i) and (ii)below:

We refer to the publication of advert in some national dailies dated Wednesday November 14, 2012 inviting qualified contractors registered with Plateau State Tender Board under category B-E to obtain bid documents for various projects in the Health and Education sectors in Plateau state government pursuant to the Redemption agenda of the Administration of Da Dr. David Jonah Jang.

Invitation for Pre-qualification to Tender for the Furnishing of two Conference Rooms

 

1.       The Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN) intends to execute its approved Capital Project for the year 2012. Interested companies with experience in “Furnishing of Conference Rooms” are invited to apply for pre-qualification for the tender.

 

2.       Pre-qualification Requirements

Interested and competent contractors wishing to carry out the job above are to submit the following documents strictly in the order presented below, which will be subjected to verification by VCN:

 

a.       Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)

b.       Current Tax Clearance Certificate

c.       VAT Registration Certificate and evidence of past VAT remittances

d.       Names of Bankers with Reference

e.       Articles and Memorandum of Association of the Company including Company profile/Names of key Professionals (their qualifications, current practicing license, experience, address, telephone numbers and email address) to be attached to the project.

f.       Evidence (s) of compliance with the provision of the Pension Reform-Act 2004 as contained in section 16 subsection 6(d) of the Public Procurement Act 2007.

g.       Audited Accounts of the bidder for the last three (3) years and Bank name for verification

h.       List of Verifiable documentary evidence of similar and other jobs successfully executed within the last three (3) years. Documents like letter of awards, completion Certificate, and evidence of payment received

i.        Evidence of financial capability and banking support

j.        Equipment and Technical capacity

k.       Registration with the relevant professional bodies

 

Only pre-qualified companies backed by proven related experience shall be invited to competitively tender for the supply of the equipment.

3.       Pre-qualification documents, three (3) copies each of which should be submitted, must be sealed and marked with code “FOCR2012” at the top right hand corner.

 

4.       Pre-qualification documents should reach the Registrar of the VCN at Plot 434, Zambezi Crescent, Off-Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama District, Abuja on or before 10th December 2012 at 12:00 noon.

 

All bids will be opened on the following day (or on the next working day should the closing date fall on a Friday or a day just before a public holiday) at 10:00am prompt in the VCN Conference Hall in the presence of the applicants and other interested members of the Public/Media houses.

 

Please note the following:

a.       Non-compliance with guidelines may lead to disqualification.

b.       Only pre-qualified companies will be invited to pay a non-refundable Tender fee of Twenty thousand naira (N20,000.00) only.

c.       Late submission will be rejected.

d.       Quotation will be assumed to include VAT and WHT.

e.       VCN Secretariat is not bound to accept the lowest or any other tender.
