Oando Supply and Trading is Nigeria’s leading oil trading and supply company that trades in a broad purpose kerosene, Gasoline, Jet A1, Diesel, Low/High Pour Fuel Oils, Naphtha, Base Oil and Bitumen

To improve efficient cargo delivery, we wish to build sustainable relationships with owners of vessels in good working condition.

To this extent, we require ships of world-class standards for the purposes of lightering import tankers and delivering Clean Petroleum Product (CPP) into Nigerian Ports and other West African coast destinations.

Categories and Tonnage capacity required are:

Class A: 5/7,000 DWT

Class B: 8/10,000 DWT

Class C: 11/15,000 DWT

Class D: 16/20,000 DWT

Class E: Above 21,000 DWT (not exceeding 39,999 DWT)

Draft restrictions for the above tonnage on the following Brackish water draft:

6.0 meters; 6,4 meters; 7.2 meters; 8.4 meters; 9meters; 10.0 meters

Age restrictions:

All tankers presented to exceed 20 years old

Interested firms should submit an application containing the following documents as shown in the order below:

  1. Formal letter of introduction
  2. Proof of ownership of a vessel or bareboat charter
  3. Updated Q88 (version 3); International Oil Pollution and Prevention certificate; Protection and Indemnity; Class; Civil Liability Certificates; Cabotage Complaint documents, where applicable
  4. Evidence of local and /or international experience

Please note that all shortlisted vessels will be subject to inspection in Nigerian waters

All documents should be sealed in an envelope, marked “Vassel Ownership Africa”, and addressed to the Head of Operations, Oando Supply and Trading, 10th Floor, 2, Ajose Adeogun Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, on or before 18th February 2011.

Late submissions will not be accepted.
