Request for Expression of Interest in the Provision of Security Coverage of The Institution
The Federal Polytechnic Bauchi wishes to advertise for security services in the institution. Competent security companies are therefore invited to forward their prequalification documents
Pre-Qualification Requirements
1. Evidence of incorporation by the corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
2. Evidence of tax clearance certificate for the last three (3) years 2008, 2009 and 2010).
3. Evidence of licence by the ministry of interior through the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
4. Evidence of renewal of licence by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps
5. Verifiable evidence of previous experience in a similar Job.
6. Evidence of compliance/fulfillment of statutory obligations to employees of the company with respect to pension.
7. Evidence of community and social responsibility
8. Sworn Affidavit that none of the partners of the company has been convicted in any country for any criminal offence including fraud or financing impropriety.
9. Sworn Affidavit indicating whether any officer of Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi is a former or present partner, Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in any company.
10. The guards to be deployed must have filled the “form D” of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps or have registered their Guards with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps for the ‘form D’.

This application for pre-qualification shall not be construed to be a commitment on the
part of Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi nor shall it entitle any person to make any claim and or seek indemnity from the Polytechnic by virtue of such person having
responded to this advert. Federal polytechnic, Bauchi shall not enter into correspondence with unsuccessful applicants.
Submission of Documents
The documents are to be appropriately registered with the undersigned and to be dropped into the Tender Box, situated at the Rectors Office, in a sealed envelope marked “Provision of Security Services” at the top right corner of the envelop on or before 26th January, 2011.
The submission are to be open at 12:30pm of the same date at the council chamber of the Polytechnic and all applicants are invited to attend. Please note that this is not an invitation to Tender and only contractors that have been pre-qualified will be invited to Tender.
