Invitation to Tender
The Federal Ministry of Education through Federal Government College Jos, invites suitably qualified and competent contractors to tender for the construction and supply of the following projects:
A. Scope of Work
Lot 1: Procurement of 1 No. Tractor/ Slasher
Lot 2: Procurement of Classroom Office Furniture
Lot 3: Renovation of 6 No. Duplex Senior Staff quarters
Lot 4: Construction of Sporting Pavilion
B. Collection of Tender Documents/Instructions
Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the Secretary, School Tenders Board, Federal Government College. Jos upon payment of non-refundable fees of N25,000.00 per lot (Twenty Five Thousand Naira Only)
C. Tender Requirements
i. Certificate of Company registration with C.A.C.
ii. Company profile.
iii. Tax clearance for three years.(2010- 2012)
iv. Evidence of VAT registration.
v. Evidence of previous experience in similar contracts.
vi. Architect payment and Quantity surveyors completion valuation respectively.
vii. Guaranty letter from company’s bank.
viii. Evidence of payment of N25,000.00 non-refundable fees.
ix. Evidence of registration with F.I.R.S /National Pension Commission and ITF.
x. Bidders Covering Letter.
D. Submission of Tender Documents
All completed tender documents must be sealed in a wax envelope and clearly marked “Tender Document”, indicating the lot at the top left corner of the envelope and addressed to:

P.M.B 2105,
Jos.
Plateau State.
The completed tender documents should be dropped in the Tender Box situated at Administrative Block F.G.C, Jos not later than 12.00 noon on 19th Aug, 2013.
E. Tender Opening
Tender documents would be opened on the same date at 2.00pm at the Common Room. It is mandatory for all contractors or their representatives to attend the opening exercise.
