Invitation for Pre-qualification Tender

1.0 Introduction
Federal Government Girls’ College, Owerri intends to carry out:
1) Renovation, Re-Roofing and Re-flooring of students dining hall
2) Purchase of (1 No.) 32 seater Toyota Coaster Bus.
2.0 Pre-qualification Requirements
Prospective Contractors are required to submit the following pre-qualification:
(a) A copy of company profile / Registration with CAC.
(b) Evidence of Registration with the College and Refundable 2.5% Bid Security
(c) Three years Tax Clearance Certificate.
(d) Evidence of Financial Capability and Banking Support
(h) Verifiable evidence of similar jobs successfully executed and compliance with ITF Amended Act, 2011
(k) Evidence of VAT Registration / PENCOM compliance
3.0 Tender Procedure
Interested Tenderers are required to pay non-refundable sum of Twenty thousand Naira (N20,000.00) only, to the College Bursary and collect the Bill of Quantities and other tender documents.
4.0 Submission
The pre-qualification and Tender documents are to be neatly bound and sealed in two separate envelopes and marked at the top ‘Technical’ and ‘Financial’ Bids as appropriate and the two envelopes shall be sealed and labelled:
1) Pro-Qualification documents and
2) Tender Documents
The completed documents shall be addressed to:
The Principal,
Federal Government Girls’ College, Owerri.
The envelopes should be dropped in 2 tender boxes in the office of the Principal, FGGC, Owerri, not later than 10a.m on the 9th September, 2013.
5.0 The Opening of the Pre-qualification Documents
The Opening of Technical Bids shall be done at 11am on the 10th September 2013 and all bidders are required to be present. Only the financial bids of ‘pre-qualified contractors’ shall be opened and considered on the 13th September, 2013
