Tender for Provision of Private Security Services at
The Jos University Teaching Hospital
MANAGEMENT hereby invites reputable Private Security Companies to tender for the provision of security services in the Hospital for a period of 24 months in the first instance:

Bidding Conditions
Bids are to be by LOT and Contractors are to provide the following
i. Evidence of registration as a company with Corporate Affairs Commission
ii. Evidence of registration with the relevant professional body
iii. Evidence of tax clearance certificate for the last three years (2006, 2009 and 2010)
iv. Evidence (not list) of similar jobs done in the past (within the last 5 years)
v. Evidence of financial capability and banking support
vi. Comprehensive company profile and organizational structure with names, designations and qualifications of key personnel.
vii. Payment and evidence of non-refundable bidding fee of N10,000.00 for each Lot
viii. Evidence of staff training and retraining (the Hospital will inspect the training facilities as part of the processes of award, and thereafter from time to time)
ix. List of modern equipment the company the face of the current security challenges.
Please Note:
i. Successful company will be expected to deploy to the Hospital staff who posses at least SSCE and who are not above 45 years old.
ii. Original documents on any aspect of a contractor’s submission may be requested for sighting
iii. Jos University Teaching Hospital reserves the right to verify any claim by the companies, Companies shall therefore include necessary authority and guarantee for such verification, absence of which could result in the disqualification of such a Contractor.
iv. The notice of “invitation to tender” shall not be construed as commitment on the part of JUTH nor shall it entitle any company to make claims whatsoever or seek any indemnity from JUTH.
v. Notwithstanding the submission of the bidding documents, Jos University Teaching Hospital is neither committed nor obliged to award contract to any company
vi. You are to collect bid documents from the Head of Internal Security Department on presentation of receipt of payment.
vii. The Companies applying are required to liaise with the JUTH Internal Security Department so as to visit the Lots to determine how they intend to provide adequate security before bidding.
Submission
The completed bid documents (6 copies) should be bound, enclosed in an envelope sealed and marked “QUOTATION FOR SECURITY SERVICES LOT. (indicate Lot)” at the top right hand corner of the envelope and addressed to:

and deposited in the TENDER BOX in the Office of the Director of Administrative Block of the Hospital at the Permanent Site on or before 8th August 2011.
Bidders May wish to attend the tender opening on closing date at 12:00pm, please.
