Invitation to Pre-Qualification
1. Introduction
The National Centre for Hydropower Research and Development (NACHRED) invites interested and credible Companies to apply for Pre-qualification as Contractors for various projects of the Centre for the 2011 capital projects.
2. SCOPE
The scope of works include;
LOT 3: Purchase of Office Furniture & Equipment
LOT 2: Construction of Office Building
LOT 3: Procurement of Laboratory Equipment
3. Pre-Qualification Criteria
Interested contractors are required to submit Pre qualification documents with verifiable evidence including but not limited to the following::
i. Evidence of incorporation of the company by Corporate Affairs Commission
ii. Evidence of tax clearance certificate for the last three years.
iii. VAT registration and proof of past remittances,
iv Company profile and organizational including names of key personnel, telephone numbers and email addresses
v Company’s audited accounts for the last three years.
vi The list of similar Jobs executed with evidence or names of clients, location of projects, letter of award, and certificate of practical completion and cost of projects.
vii. List of equipment to be used where applicable and their location.
viii. evidence of pension compliance from National Pension Commission
4, Submission
1. Pre–qualification documents must be in five copies and placed in sealed envelopes marked: PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR NACHED 2011 CAPITAL PROJECT and the LOT of interest clearly printed at the top left corner of the envelope.
2. Submit on or before 8th August, 2011 to:

NOTE: The submission of the pre-qualification documents is not a guarantee for award of contract. Only pre-qualified companies shall be invited to pick the tender documents.
