Tender Notice

 

Notice is hereby given by the Government of Ekiti State, Nigeria to suitable Contractors for the under listed road projects

 

Project Location

  1. Ishan-Obbo Ayegunle
  2. Illupeju-Ire-Igbemo-Ijan
  3. Iropora-Epe-Araromi-Ijero
  4. Ayetoro-Ewu-Iye
  5. Ikole Township
  6. Ikere Township
  7. Ijero Township

 

 

2.       Tender Documents:

The tender documents including un-priced Bill(s) of Quantities are obtainable from the Director, Department of Planning, Research and Statistics of the Ministry of Works and Transportation, Ajilosun Street, Ado-Ekiti on the payment of non-refundable tender fees payable to Head 402 Sub-Head 105 of the Ministry of Works and Transportation as may be indicated on the notice board of tie Ministry

 

 

3.       Pre-Requisites for Tender:

(a)     Contractors Submitting Tenders must be duly registered with the Ekiti State Registration Board of the Ministry of Works and Transportation, Ado-Ekiti

(b)     A copy of the receipts in respect of the non-refundable tender fee;

(c)      The Company’s Ekiti State Development levy receipts for three consecutive years (year of tender inclusive);

(d)     Evidence of Company’s (functioning) office in Ekiti State;

(e)      Evidence of registration with Ekiti State Bureau of Procurement;

(f)      Evidence of registration of Business Premises in Ekiti State, Nigeria;

(g)     Current tax clearance Certificate of the Company;

(h)     The Certificate of incorporation of the company;

(i)      The profile of company indicating the partners, equipment, working experience and any other relevant information that may enhance the favorable consideration of the tenders.

(j)      Evidence of Execution of similar project(s)

(k)     Evidence of financial capability from a reputable Bank

 

 

4.       Site Inspection:

All tenderers are advised to visit the site for the purposes of inspection and reasonable pricing of the Bill of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation (BEME).

 

5.       Submission of Tenders  

(a)     All tenders should be submitted to the State Tenders Board Secretariat not later than 5th February, 2012.

 

(b)     All tenders must be submitted in a sealed envelope indicating the project of choice e.g. Township, Clearly written on the top left corner of the envelope and addressed to:

 

          The Secretary,

          State Tenders Board,

C/O Cabinet & Special Services Department,

Office of the Governor,

Ado-Ekiti

 

(c)      Tenderers should not indicate the name of their companies at the back of the envelope in any manner whatsoever.

 

6.       Acceptance of Tenders:

All tenders accompanied with the relevant documents and attachments contained in the notice must be submitted in the prescribed manner.     

 

This advertisement shall neither be construed as a commitment on the part of EKMW&T nor shall it entitle responding contractors to seek any indemnity from EKMW&T by virtue of such contractors having responded to this advertisement.

 

Note:

Submission of all Tenders will close on 5th February, 2013.
