Open Invitation for Pre-Qualification to Tender for TETFUND Projects

Lagos State Polytechnic desires to execute the following Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) year 2009, 2010 and 2011 (Merged) Library Intervention Project.

The Institution invites reputable and proven contractors for Pre-qualification/Tender for the projects.

1.       Scope of Work

a.       Procurement of Books for various Departments/Library Furniture (Computer Tables and Chairs)

b.       Procurement of Printers/Guillotine Machine/Inverters

c.       Library Software and Internet Connectivity

2.       Pre-Qualification/Tender Documents

Contractors are requested to submit the following document for pre-qualification to render in wax-sealed envelopes:

(a)     Copy of Registration of Company with the Corporate Affairs Commission;

(b)     Copy of Registration of Company with the Federal Ministry of Works or          Lagos State Ministry of Works;

(c)      Copy of Registration of Company with the Lagos State Polytechnic;

(d)     Copy of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years

(e)      Copy of VAT Certificate

(f)      Copy of receipt for payment of Lagos State Development Levy

(g)     List of Company’s technical staff and experience with supporting documents;

(h)     Company profile showing evidence of previous jobs executed and relevant experience; and

(i)      Evidence of Payment of non-refundable deposit of fifty thousand naira (N50, 000.00) payable in Bank Draft to the Polytechnic on the project.

3.       Submission of Pre-Qualification/Tender Documents

Pre-Qualification documents must be submitted in wax-sealed envelopes clearly marked “pre-qualification for TETF year 2009/2010/2011” on the left hand corner and addressed to:

The Registrar,

Lagos State Polytechnic,

Sagamu Road,

Ikorodu.

All applications for pre-qualification to tender must be deposited in the tenders box in the Council Chamber of the Polytechnic, Ikorodu Campus not later than 12^th February, 2013.

All applications for pre-qualification to tender shall be opened in the Council Chamber, Ikorodu Campus.
