Invitation of Pre-Qualification of Tender

In its effort to improve the living standard of its people, Abadam Local Government wishes to undertake the execution of some development projects, therefore all interested contractors are invited for pre-qualification to tender.

Scope of Work

1. Shopping Complex at Abadam Town.
2. Shopping complex 5 Nos at Yaumawango Town.
3. Shopping complex 10 Nos at Malam Fatori town.
4. Completion of Central Mosque at Metele.
5. Extension of Electric Poles and electrification of all Official Residence including Local Government Secretariat, Lodge I, II and III.
6. Construction of dyke Water barrier 1.030 KM along river Yobe bank in Abadam Town.
7. Construction of Market stalls at Garere Town.
8. Complete renovation of slaughter house and slaughter slab including wall fence at Abadam Town.
9. Drilling of 50 motorized Bore holes across the Local Government.
10. Fencing of Malam Fatori Grave Yard.
11. Construction of Veterinary Clinic at Malam Fatori.
12. Construction of Police Outpost at Mari.
13. Construction of Primary School at Mari.

Construction of 4 Bedroom and VIP Toilets, Guest House at Metele Town

1. Construction of  Primary School at Bakari
2. Complete renovation of Arege Health Clinic
3. Complete renovation of Yau Clinic
4. Complete renovation of Arege Guest House
5. Construction of Staff quarters with fence at Abadam central    primary School.
6. Construction of Primary School at Tubunjamaina
7. Construction of Health Clinic at Tubunjamaina.
8. Construction of Slaughter Slab at Tubun Gini.
9. Construction of health Clinic at Tubun Gini.
10. Construction of Primary School (2 blocks and Office).
11. Completion of Faguwa Clinics.
12. Renovations of lodge I & II and supply of Furniture.

Pre-Qualification Criteria

i.            Evidence of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission.

ii.            Registration with Borno State Works Registration Board in relevant categories.

iii.            Company’s audited account for three (3) years.

iv.            Evidence of financial capability and Bank support.

v.            Experience and Technical qualification to key personnel.

vi.            Records of previous projects executed and evidence of knowledge of the industry.

1. Equipment, plants and technology capacity.
2. VAT Registration and evidence of past VAT remittance.

ix.            Local resources utilization.

x.            Community and social responsibility support.

xi.            Any additional information that may enhance the company for the award of contract.

Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents

Pre-qualification documents should be forwarded to the Office of the Secretary Abadam Local Government in a SEALED Envelop Marked Pre-Qualification document not later than 25^th January 2013.
