Invitation for Pre-Qualification/Tender for Year 2013 Capital Projects in Post Primary Institutions in the State
The Ministry of Education Borno State hereby invites tender from suitably qualified companies or firms for prequalification/ tender. Interested firms are to indicate interest as per the projects below; located in the three senatorial districts of the state.
- Rehabilitation and Construction of educational buildings in 5 no. post primary institutions in each of the three (3) senatorial districts of Borno State for the 2013 capital projects
- Procurement of instructional material for post primary institutions across the state
- Procurement of beds and bedding (mattresses for boarding schools in the state)
- Procurement of classroom/laboratory furniture
- Procurement of assorted textbooks in core subject areas
- Procurement of chemicals, reagents/technical equipment
- Procurement of students uniforms
- Provision of portable drinking water in schools across the state (drilling of boreholes)
- Provision of sporting facilities/materials in all schools
- Procurement of motor vehicles to schools
Prequalification Requirements
Interested companies are to submit the following documents for prequalification and tender
- Incorporation registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
- Evidence of registration with Borno State Government as a contractor with Ministry of Education
- Tax clearance certificate for the last 3 years
- Company VAT registration certificate
- Company profile and qualifications of some key officers of the organization
- A letter of ability to perform from your bankers
- Evidence of similar job executed e.g. certificate of practical completion of projects undertaken
NB: you are to come alone with your original copies of all documents attached for verification.
Method of Application:
Interested companies are to submit prequalification documents; and if interested to tender, you can collect tender documents on payments of twenty-five thousand naira (N25, 000) non refundable fees and twenty five thousand naira (N25, 000) for registration with Ministry of Education as a contractor from the secretary Ministerial Tenders Board. Returns of documents: to be made to secretary ministerial tenders board, marked on the right hand top corner pre-qualification documents OR tender documents in sealed envelopes. Address to Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Education Headquarters, Borno State on or before 5th March, 2013.
