Invitation for Pre-Qualification to Tender for the Construction and Major

Rehabilitation of Roads

The Jigawa State Government is desirous to undertake the construction/rehabilitation of roads across the state under the Jigawa State Roads Construction/Rehabilitation Programme Phase IV, and is hereby Inviting reputable Civil Engineering Construction Companies for Pre-qualification to tender for the under listed road projects:

1.       Construction   of   Eastern   Bye-Pass:  Arawa  – Kubayau-Masama-Gafta – Baturiya -Una – (Spur -Yalwa-Musari)-Chacharan-Abunabo- Chapchapno – Lafiyari – Kadira – Arinjasco – Matara -Abir-Guri Road  (Phase I),

2.       Major   Rehabilitation   to   Asphaltic   Concrete

OVERLAY: Chaichai Sabuwa – Aujara – Jahun – Dangyatum – Kafin Hausa – Gamayin – Bauchi State Boarder

Pre-Qualification Requirements

i.        Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission

ii.       Evidence of registration as contractor with the Jigawa State Government.

iii.      Evidence of Tax clearance for the last three years.

iv.      Company audited accounts for the last three years,

v.       indication of technical  and administrative staff strength with academic/professional qualifications and years of cognate experience available for the project.

vi.      Evidence of equipment capacity to be used for the work.

vii.     Evidence of relevant and verifiable experience on similar works in Nigeria over the last five years.

viii.    Evidence of payment of VAT.

ix.      Evidence of financial capability from a reputable bank to

undertake such projects.

x.       Evidence of operational office or application for land to

build such an office in Jigawa State.

xi.      List of all on-going contracts indicating the list and the value of outstanding works;

Submission of Documents

Pre-qualification documents most be signed, sealed and clearly marked “Pre-qualification for the construction/rehabilitation of the particular project” should be delivered on or before 12^th April, 2012 to:
