Public-Private Partnership to Turn-Around,
Maintain and Manage the Government Lodges in Kogi State.
Invitation for Expression of Interest from Private Partners for the Renovation, Maintenance and Management of Kogi State Government Lodges.
Kogi State Government is interested in developing and renovating the Government Lodges in the under-listed urban centres under a public-private partnership arrangement. The idea is to commercialize the lodges to make them render high quality services to the public as part of government’s desire to boost the hospitality industry in the State.
The Government hereby invites interested reputable hoteliers, tourism and hospitality operators, individuals and corporate bodies to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in this programme, for any or all of the lots stated below.
Scope of Work
1. Renovation of 8 (Eight) lots in Kogi State. The 8 lots consist of:
Lot 1- The Government Lodge, Okene
Lot 2- The Government Lodge Kabba
Lot 3- The Government Lodge, Okpo
Lot 4- The Government Lodge, Idah
Lot 5- The Government Lodge, Dekin
Lot 6- The Government Lodge, Isanlu
Lot 7- The Government Lodge, Ankpa
Lot 8- The Government Lodge, Oguma
2. Maintenance and Management of the Lodges as Guest Houses/Boutique Hotels.
Interested parties are advised to visit the lodges of their choice and inspect them before concluding their Expression of Interest.
Pre-Qualification Requirements
(a) Evidence of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission
(b) Current Tax Clearance Certificate for 3 years including TIN
(c) Financial capability /Bankers reference
(d) Company profile with evidence of similar works previously executed
(e) VAT Registration
(f) Payment of N25, 000 non-refundable processing fee; payment should be made by Bank Draft in favour of Kogi State Government

Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents
Al documents must be clearly marked “EOI Government Lodge Lot Number….”
Pre-Qualification documents should be submitted to the office of the Permanent Secretary (Political), Office of the Deputy Governor, Kogi State, on or before Monday, 30th July, 2012 by 12.00 noon.
Opening of Documents
All documents will be opened on Monday, 30th July, 2012 by 2.00pm at the Conference Hall of the Office of the Deputy Governor, Kogi State, Lokoja.
