MDGs-CGS Implementation Committee
Invitation for Expression of Interest for the Management of Selected MDGs Facilities in the State
Anambra State Government, in collaboration with Local Government Councils, has been implementing development projects/programmes under the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Conditional Grant Scheme since 2007. The intervention has been mainly in the areas of Primary Health, Water and Sanitation, as well as Youth Empowerment.
To ensure sustainability of these projects, the State Government through the MDGs Implementation Committee hereby invites competent individuals/organizations to apply for the management of some of the projects/facilities in partnership with the Government and the communities where they are located, to give Ndi-Anambra the full benefits of these dividends of democracy.
The facilities are open for inspection at the following locations: 1. Ten (10) Youth/Skill Acquisition Centres in:

Four (4) Obstetrics Flying Boats/Water Ambulances at the Marine Base in Onitsha (for Anambra East, Anambra West, Ogbaru aru Onitsha North LGAs)
Detailed proposal for the management of any of the facilities should be submitted in six (6) copies to the undersigned, and should include but not be limited to:
- Justification for desire to manage such a facility
- Outline of work-plan for partnership
- Evidence of previous experience in similar job
- Evidence of technical competence
- Evidence of adequate equipment and personnel
- Evidence of financial capacity to effectively manage the facility
- Proposed cost sharing between the partners
All proposals must be submitted not later than 9th August, 2011
