Request for Expression of Interest for the under listed Consultancy Jobs.

 

Introduction.

The Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) intends to use part of its 2012 Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) to fund the procurement of the under listed consultancy services and wishes to invite qualified and experienced consultants to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI):

LOT 1. Consultancy for International Civil Aviation Organisation Audit,

LOT 2. Consultancy for review of Accident investigation Bureau (AIB) Act and Regulations.

LOT 3. Consultancy for Media Services.

 

 

Scope of Work,

The scope of work for the various jobs as as follows:

The consultancy for International Civil Aviation Organization (lCAO) Audit will involve the pro­vision of expert advice on all aspect of the areas that ICAO carried out an audit on the activ­ities of AIB.

Media consultancy will involve the provision of various media services including the selling of AIB brand, creating public awareness on the objectives and goals of the Bureau.

 

The Terms of Reference (TOR) for each job can be obtained from the Secretary of the Tenders Board on payment of the sum of Ten thousand naira (N10.000M) only.

 

Eligibility/Requirements

Interested Consultant/service providers should submit the following documents:

 

  • Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). Certified true copies of certificate of incorporation/intermorandum and articles of association with forms C02 & COT7.
  • Evidence of remittance of Withholding Tax for the last three (3) years (i.e, 2008, 2009 and 2010)/current Tax clearance certificates where applicable.
  • Value added Tax Registration Certificates with PIN/Past three (3) years (i.e, 2008, 2009 and 2010) remittances.
  • Company profile and professional experience of key staff including their CVs.
  • Name and address of banker(s) with a commitment letter of reference from the bank.
  • Evidence of involvement/experience in similar jobs stating contract sum, copies of award letters, completion certificates should be enclosed.
  • Audited financial statements of the firm for the past three (3) years (i.e. 2008, 2009 and 2010).
  • An affidavit confirming the authenticity and genuineness of the documents submitted

 

Interested firms must show evidence of compliance with the pensions Act 2004,

 

D. Submission of Expressions of Interest.

Interested firms are to submit Expressions of interest on or before 2nd April, 2012

Only selected firms shall be requested to submit quotation.

The submission shall be made in one soft copy in a flash drive and two hard copies sealed in an envelope with the lot number and name of the job the firm is intending to undertake clearly written on the envelope and submitted to:

E. Important Information.

1.       Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) reserves the right to;

i         verify the authenticity of any claims made on the documents submitted by the companies.

ii.       verify the company address/location indicated in the expression of interest.

2.       Failure to comply strictly with the instructions above and to provide any required documents may result in the disqualification of the company.

3.       Original documents listed in item c above must be produced for sighting.

4.       Expressions of Interest submitted after the closing date and time shall be rejected.

5.       Interested firms are to note that the Accident Investigation Bureau shall not be liable for the expenses incurred by them on their submission and that the Bureau shall short list only firms whose submissions are considered to be responsive to the requirements of the Bureau.
