The Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Plc (NSPM) intends to install the following Fire & Safety Projects in its Lagos Factory (26 Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos) and Staff Hospital (Lancaster Road, Yaba, Lagos).

1.       Fire Alarm and Detection System for Lagos Currency Factory.

2.       Fire Alarm and Detection System for Admin. Building and SD Factory.

3.       Wet Riser System for Admin. Building and SD Factory.

4.       Fire Hose Reel Installation for Staff Hospital Building, Yaba.

5.       Fire Detectors and Alarm System for Staff Hospital Building, Yaba.

Interested companies are required to submit the information specified below in order to qualify for consideration. Incomplete submissions may lead to disqualification of the bid document:

1.       Copy of Certificate of Incorporation.

2.       Copy of form CO2 and CO7 as the case may be

3.       Copy of VAT registration certificate.

4.       Copy of the most current tax clearance certificate

5.       Evidence of similar projects carried out, if any

6.       Organizational structure of the company including names of technical and managerial staff, their qualifications and cognate experience.

7.       Audited accounts for the preceding three (3) years.

8.       Evidence of financial capacity and capability to execute this project.

9.       Prospective contractor must show evidence of Employees open Retirement Savings Accounts (RSA) with a Pension Fund Administration of choice for indigenous companies and evidence of remittance of such contribution for both Employer and Employee to the appropriate Pension Fund Custodian when they are eventually selected

10.     Evidence of compliance with statutory provision of section 6(i-ii), of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) ACT, as amended.

The bid document should be packaged neatly in binders and submitted in 2 no. copies, each in separate and wax-sealed envelope by the companies’ representative. Review and Development of state Human Resources for Health (HRH) Strategic and Implementation Plans for six (6) states

Request for Expression of Interest

CapacityPlus is a USAID-supported global health workforce project led by IntraHealth International. The overall goal of this project is to increase the availability of health workers to meet the HIV/AIDS, Maternal and Child Health (MCH), reproductive health (RH) and other priority health needs of underserved populations through sustainable and scalable HRH interventions. Implementation of country-specific activities for Nigeria are targeted at both Federal and State levels through active engagement with a range of agencies, including Federal and State ministries of health, the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), training institutions, and regulatory councils. As part of her mandate, CapacityPlus supports the strengthening of sustainable, effective and efficient HRH policy, planning management and development at the state level.

Towards this end, expression of interest (EOI) is hereby requested for the review and development of state HRH Strategic and Implementation plans for the following six (6) states – Cross River, Benue, Nasarawa, Ogun, Imo and Oyo.

Offerers should express their interest in supporting the above mentioned States to develop detailed HRH situational analysis and state specific HRH Strategic and Implementation Plans that are aligned with the National HRH policy and the HRH Priority Area within each State Strategic Health Development Plan (SSHDP).

Through USAID /PEPFAR support, CapacityPlus is implementing these activities as part of larger efforts to ensure service availability and access to a well skilled health workforce in areas where they are in most need.

The offerers should have:

a)       Legal status approved by the government of Nigeria enabling it to carry out the tasks mentioned above;

b)      A proven expertise and past performance with professional records in the area of working with stakeholders in conducting situational analysis, policy analysis and strategy development especially in the area of HRH.

c)       A proven professional record in the area of human resources and strategic planning in the public sector, and health systems strengthening, preferably in developing countries;

CapacityPlus is cancelling the Expression of Interest and RFP as posted on May 14, 2013 due to insufficient proposal details. CapacityPlus is reissuing a revised EOI with new information.

CapacityPlus  is  a   USAID-supported  global   health  workforce   project  led   by  IntraHealth International Initiative. Lot 3:          Library shelves and storage cabinets.

 

Offerers can express their interest in one, two or all three lots. The materials and equipment listed in both lots will be delivered to 11 schools of Midwifery and Health technology in the Nigerian states of Bauchi, Nassarawa, Sokoto, Lagos and Benue. With the support of PEPFAR through USAID, CapacityPlus is providing educational materials as part of a larger effort to support the learning environment of these schools, enabling them to produce a higher number of qualified midwives and community health workers.

 

The offerers, should have:

b)      A proven professional record in the area of sourcing, purchasing, storage and delivery of educational equipment, books and materials;

c)       Proven expertise and past performance in inventory management; and delivery at materials across Nigeria,
