Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors for the Fencing of NPA’s Land at Port Harcourt, Bonny, Finima Island and Calabar, New Port, Extension

 

1.0      Introduction

The Nigerian Ports Authority hereby invites reputable and competent Contractors to apply for pre-qualification for the above-titled project as indicated in two (2) Lots below:

 

Lot 1 Propsoed Fencing of NPA’s Lands at Port Harcourt, Bonny and Finima Island
Lot 2 Propsoed Fencing of NPA’s Lands at Calabar, New Port Extension, Cross River State

 

2.0     Pre-Qualification Requirements

For pre-qualification, interested companies must submit the following documents:

 

a.       Evidence of company registration with Corporate Affairs Commission

b.       Verifiable proofs of company’s technical ability to undertake Building Engineering projects

c        Evidence of similar and other projects successfully executed will be an added advantage

d.       Company’s financial details & audited accounts for the last three years

e.       Evidence of VAT Registration/Remittance Certificate

f.       Evidence of personnel registration with COREN

g.       Evidence of compliance with Pension Reform Act 2004

h.       Company profile to include names, qualifications, experiences of key personnel

i.        All relevant information concerning contacts, telephone, fax and e-mail address of the company’s representative.

 

 

 

3.0   Submission   of   Pre-Qualification   Tender Document

The completed pre-qualification submissions must be in three (3) copies, in sealed envelope addressed to the “SECRETARY TO THE TENDERS BOARD,   NIGERIAN PORTS AUTHORITY” and clearly marked “Pre-Qualification Tender for Fencing of NPA’s Land at………………(indicate your preferred

LOT)” and dropped into the designated Tender Box located on the 2nd floor, Nigerian Ports Authority Corporate Headquarters, 26/28 Marina, Lagos not later than 11.00am, Tuesday, 10th January, 2012.  All tenders will be opened the same day in the Conference Room, N.PA Annex Building No. 1 Joseph Street, off Marina, Lagos by 12.00 p.m, in the presence of all bidders or their representatives and other stakeholders,

Reputable and interested contractors with relevant working experience are hereby invited by the Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board to bid for the following categories:-

  1. Construction of model 3 Classrooms with officer room.
  2. Construction of blocks of 2 Classrooms with officer and store.
  3. UBE Standardized 3 seater Desk.
  4. Teacher table furniture.
  5. ECCDE Furniture.
  6. Drilling of hand Pump Fitted Boreholes.
  7. Construction of VIP Toilet 4 Pits.

 

2.         To qualify for the bidding the following document are

required:

i)          Certificate of incorporation of company with corporate Affairs Commission

ii)         Evidence of Registration as a Contractor with the Bauchi State Government.

iii).       Tax clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years,

iv)        Evidence of financial   strength of the Company,

v).        Availability of plants and Equipments to execute the works.

 

3.         Pre-qualification document should be sealed and marked

Confidential and addressed to the Executive Chairman. Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board. AJIYA Adamu Road, Near Awalah Hotel Roundabout, P.M.B. 0109, Bauchi, Bauchi State.

 

4.         This is only an invitation for pre- qualification but not for tender and is valid after on or before 29th December, 2011.
