Acquisition of Speed Boats for Filed Services

The Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA), hereby invites reputable firms that have requisite experience in supply of speed boats to submit comprehensive quotations for the supply of speed boats as specified below.

 

Responsibilities/Specifications

The Contractor (o be engage is expected to supply 19 Footer Executive Speed Boats fitted with both rigid and flexible canopies that can be used in all weather.

 

The Contractor to be engaged will be required to supply one (1) Boat for test- running in the first instance after which subject to satisfactory performance, additional three (3) boats may be purchased subject to approval of the Executive Secretary. In addition, the boat must have proof of guarantee durability and also meet the following specifications;

Requirements.

The Contractor to be considered for the job is required to submit the following:

i)          Profile of the firm, including verifiable relevant experience in the supply of similar boats.

ii)         Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission, Original copies of

Memorandum and Article of Association must be sighted,

iii)        Three (3) years Tax Clearance Certificate

iv)        Evidence of Registration with PPPRA.

v)         Evidence of Compliance with Pensions Reform Act 2004.

vi)        Photocopy of Value Added Tax Certificate and Evidence of VAT remittance,

vii)       Proof of guaranty of durability of the equipment

viii)      Evidence of Payment of N20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand naira only) Tender’s fee to PPPRA.

 

Submission of Quotations.

Interested Contractors are to pay Tenders’ fee of Twenty Thousand Naira only (N20,000) to the Finance Department of the Agency as Tender documentation and processing fee.  A copy of the Expression of Interest (EOI) containing both Technical and Financial bids is to be addressed to The Executive Secretary, Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency, Plot 1012 Cadastral Zone AOO, Central Business District Abuja, in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Expression of Interest” for the supply of Speed Boat and must reach the Agency  on or before 24th May, 2012 by 2.00pm on the closing date.

 

Opening of “Expressions of Interest” received takes place by 3:00pm on the closing day of the submission. Interested Contractors may obtain further information at the above mentioned address during Office hours from 9:00am to 5:00pm (Monday to Friday) or any of the Agencies Zonal Offices in Lagos and Port-Harcourt.

Bids for Engagement  of a New Facility Manager in PPRA Headquarters

 

Introduction

The Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency, hereby invites reputable firms that have requisite experience in facility Management and are capable of Maintaining the Building on behalf of PPPRA, to submit Expression of interest to the Agency.

 

2.        Responsibilities/Terms of Reference

The contractors) to be engaged will be in-charge of servicing and maintaining the facilities of the PPPRA Corporate Head Office Building as specified below

 

A.        The Contractor shall be in-charge of servicing and maintaining the facilities of

the PPPRA Corporate Head Office Building such as:

(i)         The two (2) Generators (with the Manufacturers Representatives);

(ii)        The Central Air-Conditioners;

(iii)       The Ceiling Air Conditioning Units;

(iv)       Bore Hole/Treatment Plants/Pumps

(v)        All Electronics Appliances

(vi)       All Electronic Equipments

(vii)      4 no. Lifts

 

The Contractor shall also provide the Employer with consumables such as:

(i)         Payment of PHCN bills

(ii)        Water Board Bills

(iii)       Purchase of Diesel

(iv)       Waste Management

(v)        Fumigation

 

Based on the above, the services to be provided by the Contractor shall include but not limited to the following and as outlined in the schedule thereto;

 

(i)         Design and implementation of structured maintenance programs;

(ii)        Maintenance of offices and external facilities;

(iii)       Maintenance of all electrical fixtures and fittings;

(iv)       Operation and Maintenance of 4 no, Lifts;

(v)        Maintenance of the Guest Floor;

(vi)       Landscape maintenance/ Fumigation;

(vii)      Operation, maintenance and servicing of 2 no. Generator;

(viii)     Maintenance of Electronic appliances;

(ix)       Maintenance of Transformer and feeder pillars;

(x)        Maintenance of Plumbing Systems (tank, borehole, pipe network, septic tanks, pumps);

(xi)       Maintenance of water treatment plants and Borehole;

(xii)      Maintenance of cables networks and Pipe network;

(xiii)     Maintenance of access control systems, fire fighting equipments, fire detectors and sprinkler systems;

(xiv)     Provision of consumables such as purchase of diesel and horticultural services;

(xv)      Ensure prompt settlement of PHCN bills, water bills and waste management bills.

 

Requirements

The contractor to be considered for this job is expected to satisfy the following conditions:

i)          A profile of the firm, including veritable relevant experience in the supply of Safety Equipment

ii)         Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.

iii)        Three (3) years Tax Clearance Certificate.

iv)        Evidence of compliance with Pension Reform Act 2004,

v)         Photocopy of Value Added Tax Certificate and evidence of VAT Remittance,

vi)        Evidence of registration as a contractor with PPPRA,

Preamble:

Furtherance to our desire to advance the frontiers of development through exotic beautification and to make the State of Osun a reference point in environmental sanity and beauty, applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified contractors to tender for pre-qualification for the following project in the State of Osun.

 

The Project

The project is the upgrading, beautification and landscaping of the Asejire Owena Highway road median including both left and right roadside verges.

 

Pre-Qualifications

Applicants are expected to state very clearly the following

a.       The design and cost per kilometre.

b.       Certificate of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

c.      Company Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years.

d.       Evidence of VAT registration and remittances

e.       Evidence of registration with State of Osun -Ministry of Environment & Sanitation

f.       Evidence of execution of similar projects in the last three (3) years.

1.0      Introduction

Waste management is a global issue which calls for maximum attention. The propensity of residents to generate waste seems to have heightened in recent times. This has elicited strong international and national concerns about the possible environmental, health and safety effects of living in the vicinity of these wastes. In recognition of the danger this problem portends if not tackled once and for all, the Kano State Government has decided to invite qualified and reputable companies with a view to franchising Solid waste management in Kano metropolis.

 

Programme Highlight

Development and implementation of a comprehensive municipal solid waste management system, which include but not limited to:

i.        Collection; transfer; transportation and disposal.

ii.       Management of collection point; transfer stations and dumpsites.

iii.      Proper management of hospital/health care wastes;

iv.      Street sweeping;

v.       Drainage clearance and evacuation; etc

 

2.0     Evaluation Criteria:

All interested, experienced and reputable companies wishing to participate are by this advertisement invited to submit expression of interest documents for the above programme. Only qualified and competent companies shall be invited for further discussions to be considered under this pogramme. So each company must demonstrate technical capability, management, managerial competence etc to effectively handle the programme.

 

Potential Companies are required to submit the following:

i.        Certificate of Registration/Incorporation

ii.       A comprehensive resume, profile of the company with C.Vs, of key principal/Technical officers.

iii.      Evidence and details of Verifiable involvement/engagement in solid waste Management activities in any part of Nigeria or beyond.

iv.      Evidence and details of verifiable company’s capacity and capabilities in terms of relevant vehicles, equipment etc for effective operation.

 

3.0     Verification of Claims

The Kano State Ministry of Environment reserves the right to verify the authenticity of claims made in the documents submitted to it in regards.
