I am directed to inform members of the general public that Tenders are hereby invited from reputable contractors who are registered with Esan North East Local Government for the Execution of the underlisted protects:

Lists of Projects

a.       Construction of six (6) classroom building with H/M’s office and a VIP Toilet at Amendokhain Primary School Premises Amendokhian-Uromi

b.       Construction of six (6) classroom building with H/M’s office and a VIP Toilet at Ebhoijie Primary School Premises, Uromi

2.       Intending Tenders are requested to pay a non-refundable deposit of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000.00) for any of the items listed above into the Local Government Treasury and obtain receipt

3.       Each tender must be accompanied with photocopies of the following documents.

(a)     Evidence of current registration with Esan North East Local Government as a contractor in the appropriate category

(b)    Evidence of payment of the non-refundable deposit in the appropriate category.

(c)      Three years current tax clearance certificate

(d)     Current Bank State of credit worthiness

(e)      Evidence of previous jobs successfully executed in similar or related fields

(f)      Certificate of incorporation in case of Limited Liability company

(g)      Value added Tax (VAT) registration number

(h)    Copy of company profit

4.       Documents showing the drawing and specification of the respective protects are available for inspection between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm each day Monday to Friday in the office of the Director of Works and Land Services, Esan North East Local Government, Uromi.

5.       Tenders should be addressed and submitted in a seated and waxed envelope and marked confidential with the item tendered for written at the top ten hand corner of the envelop and addressed to:

And to reach him not later than 12th September 2013.

6.       The Esan North East Local Government is not bound to accept the least or any tender nor bound to give reasons for the rejection of any tender, please.

1.0     Preamble:

The Federal University Dutse in its effort to implement 2013 TETFUND Special Intervention Projects hereby invites interested and reputable Contractors to tender for financial and technical bids exercise in respect of its 2013 TETFUND Special Intervention Projects as follows:

2.0     Condition for Eligibility:

 

Interested contractors shall be required to submit the following documents;

a.       Evidence of incorporation of company with Corporate Affairs Commission.

b.      Company Audited account for the last three (3) years

c.      Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate and remittance.

d.      Provision of Tax Identification Number (TIN) by contractor.

e.      Evidence of compliance with Pension Reform Act, 2004

f.       Evidence of Registration with Industrial Training Fund (ITF).

g.       Evidence of registration of Financial Regulatory Council.

h.      Evidence of Financial capability and banking support

i.       Evidence of SIMILAR and verifiable projects executed not just awarded  within the last five years.

j.        Annual turnover

k.       Evidence of VAT registration.

l.        Comprehensive company profile and organizational structure.

m.      Evidence of equipment and technology capacity.

n.       Evidence of Experience/ Technical qualification and experience of key personnel and their professional certificate.

o.       Sworn Affidavits to indicate that all information provided are true in every       respect that the company is not in receivership and none of it directors were        ever convicted of fraudulent activity.

p.      Sighting of original copies of all the documents listed in the profile must be presented during opening of bids.

q.       Payment of Non-Refundable fee of Twenty-Five Thousand Naira (25,000) only.

3.0     Verification of Claims:

Please note that Federal University Dutse reserves the right to verify claims made for the purpose of the pre-qualification and financial tender as submitted by interested contractors.

4.0     Collection and Submission of Documents

 Document can be obtain from the office of the Director works and should be filled and neatly packaged in a sealed envelope marked “Technical and Financial Bid for year 2013 TETFUND Special Intervention Project” indicating in each case, the project Lot At the top left hand corner of each of the two envelopes to:- The Registrar, Federal University Dutse, PMB 7156, Dutse, Jigawa State. Submission of documents will close on 6th September 2013 and should be made on or before 12.00noon on the day of closing. To be considered for commercial tendering, a bidder must score at least 70% and above for the listed category/Lot.

5.0     Opening of Documents

 Opening of bids will hold in the presence of applicant of their representative at the Senate Building of the University located at the Former government house, Kandahar along Kiyawa Road, Dutse, Jigawa State

6.0     Sighting of Original Document Tendered:

Please note that the Federal University Dutse request all bidders to present all original documents for sighting during the opening or bids exercise as any bidder who fails to present the original documents will be disqualified automatically.

7.0     Important Notice:

All applicants are to note that;-

1.       Only firms capable of executing the jobs will be considered.

2.       Nothing in this advert shall be construed to be a commitment by Federal University Dutse.

3.       Failure to comply with any of the above instruction or to provide any of the above listed documents may automatically result in disqualification.

4.       The University shall enter any correspondence with unsuccessful bidders.

Payment of Tender Fee/Collection of Tender Document

Interested bidders are to pay a non refundable tender processing fee of twenty thousand naira only (N20, 000.00) per lot there upon may collect tender documents on presentation of payment receipt to the secretary of the tender board.

 All completed tender documents should be submitted in sealed envelope with one original and photocopy and addressed to the “Secretary Tenders Board” on or before 3rd October 2013.

 

Opening Of Tenders/Bids

 

The tenders received will be publicly opened a day after the closing of Tenders/Bids at the Deputy Director-General Conference Room. The general public, civil society, press, bidders or representatives are invited to witness the opening of tenders/bids. Late bids will be rejected.
