Society for Family Health
Society for Family Health (SFH) is a leading public health NGOs in Nigeria, implementing programmes in reproductive health, HIV and AIDS prevention, and maternal and child health. SFH works in partnership with the Federal and State governments of Nigeria, the British Department for International Development (DFID) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) among other international donors.
Request for Expressions of Interest
We invite eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the following services:
Lot 1. Questionnaire template design and development using CSPro and other software development consultancy services Interested consultants must provide evidence indicating their ability to:
- Create questionnaire templates in CSPro, SPSS ,Stata, MS Access and other statistical software
- Manage database of over a 1000 variables
- Develop questionnaire templates on PDAs using CSPro mobile version
- Use other PDA capable software like Microsoft Visual CE.
- Handle data management processes using SPSS, CSPro or other data management software
- Transmit data from one statistical software to another and well as data concatenation prior to analysis
Lot 2. Design of survey methodologies, sampling strategies and methodologies
Interested organizations/consultants must provide evidence indicating:
- Ability to provide and use census information to the smallest unit (Enumeration Area)
- Practical experience in sampling design and procedures for large scale surveys in Nigeria
- Understanding of public health issues in Nigeria.
- Ability to co-facilitate in the training of field staff including cartographers and field supervisors on sampling procedures.
- Ability to select list of localities (Urban/Rural), select clusters and the listing of the households.
Above all, interested organizations/consultants must show evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission. Interested consultants may obtain further information at the below procurement@sfhnigeria.org from 8.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. quoting the subject “EOI research services” in the subject field.
Expression of interest for each Lot must be submitted separately in sealed. envelopes and marked “EOI Research services” with the appropriate Lot number clearly written on the envelope at the top right hand corner.
The Expressions of Interest should he delivered to the address below on or before 15th September 2011.
