Invitation for Tender
As part of the executive of its 2011 capita; appropriation the National Broadcasting Commission, headquarters Abuja intends to undertake the procurement of goods, works and services in the lots listed below, interested contracting firms are hereby invited to submit bids for the following projects.
2. Scope of Work
A. Supply and installation of broadcast monitoring facilities that can independently simultaneously and on a continuous basis record broadcast signals as well as display these signals as picture in picture at four spots per monitor.
B. Building and equipping of zonal offices.
3. Location of Projects
A. The provision of broadcast monitoring equipment would be done in three phases on the following locations:
LOT1: PHASE ONE:
Headquarters, Abuja, Lagos, Enugu and Sokoto zonal offices.
LOT 3: PHASE THREE:
Onitsha, Umuahia, Bauchi, Birinin Kebbi, Calabar, Ilorin, Jalingo, Kano, Oshogbo, Port Harcourt, Yola, Katsina, Makurdi, Asaba, Warri, Akure, Gusau and Gombe state offices.
B.LOT 1: Construction and equipping of NBC Abuja Zonal office
LOT 2: Construction and equipping of NBC Lagos Zonal Offcice
LOT 3: Construction and equipping of NBC Jos Zonal office
LOT 4: Construction and equipping of NBC Benin Zonal office
LOT 5: Construction and equipping of NBC Ibadan Zonal office.
LOT 6: Construction and equipping of NBC Kaduna Zonal office
LOT 7: Construction and equipping of NBC Maiduguri Zonal Office.
LOT 9: Construction and equipping of NBC Uyo Zonal office.
LOT 10: Construction and equipping of NBC Enugu Zonal office.
C. LOT 1: Installation of Close Circuit Television System
LOT 2: Procurement of handheld metal detectors
LOT 3: Supply and Installation of automated sliding date
LOT 4: Supply of Under Vehicle Inspection Mirror
LOT 5: Provision of Electronic Document Management System/Data

LOT 6: Purchase of Office Furniture
LOT 7: Training and Security Tips for Staff and Security operatives

4. Requirements
Interested contracting firms are hereby required to submit their firm’s profile which must include but not limited to the following documents.
I) Evidence of incorporation of the company with Corporate Affaires Commission (CAC)
II) Evidence of current Tax Clearance Certificate up to 2011
III) VAT Certificate and Evidence of remittance to FIRS
IV) Evidence of Pension Certificate
V) Evidence of firm’s Corporate Registration with the appropriate professional body i.e. COREN
VI) Details of staff strength including the curriculum vitae and profile of key staff
VII) Details of previous design experience undertaken in the last five (5) years, including scope of the design and value
VIII) Clear indication of Head office address
IX) Audited accounts for the last three (3 years) up to 2011.
X) Sworn affidavit that the firms is not bankrupt
XI) Sworn affidavit that none of the directors of the company is an ex-convict or bankrupt.
XII) Evidence of financial capacity and banking support (bank reference, recent statement of account).
XIII) That at anytime the Commission discovers that the information submitted for pre-qualification is false, the Commission reserves the right to disqualify the company.
“Original documents mentioned in paragraphs 3(i) (iii) above must be produced for sitting at anytime requested before the completion of the procurement exercise.
Method of Application
All interested Contractors will be required to submit detailed technical and financial proposals in accordance with standard request for proposed submission along with standard request for proposed submission along with their company profile. The Contractors is expected to pay a non-refunded financial bids fees of N20.000.00 only for each lot to the Commission using a bank draft addressed to the National Broadcasting Commission.
Opening of Bids
Collection and submission of bidding documents shall close by 12 noon Thursday 17th October, 2011 and opening of pre-qualification bid shall take place same day in NBC Board Room.
