Invitation for Technical and Financial Bids for Liquid Waste Sewage Line Rehabilitation/Maintenance & Distillation and Procurement of Cover for Sewer and Water Manholes in Federal Capital City
Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) through the Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB) has provisions in the 2010 budget for the rehabilitation of the FCC sewer network and is therefore inviting competent and Interested companies/contractors to submit Technical and Financial Bids for Rehabilitation and Distillation of the City Sewage Network covering 10 (Ten) Districts and supply of sewer/storm water manhole covers. No single company should bid for more than two lots.

Bid Requirements:
Interested, competent and the reputable companies must forward copies of the following documents and original to be made available for sighting during the tender opening
- i. Evidence of registration with corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Articles of memorandum of association
- ii. Interested companies should have up to date returns with the CAC and be informed that due diligence could be conducted.
- iii. Evidence of audited Account prepared by a Chartered Accounting firm and Tax Clearance for the last three years.
- iv. Company’s bank statement for the last 12 months
- v. Company profile showing list of key personnel/officers to be attached to the project stating their roles, designation, qualification and experience. Enclosed photocopies of professional certificate and Curriculum vitae (CV) where applicable
- vi. List of verifiable documentary evidence of jobs of similar scale and type successfully executed within the last five years.
- Any bid above N50, 000.000 (Fifty Million Naira) should be accompanied with bid security of 2% of the bid price.
- List of equipment to be used for the project available for immediate inspection and their locations. Also state whether the equipment is on lease or owned
- ix. Verifiable evidence of remittance of pension fund contributions in line with Section 16, subsection 16(d) of the Public Procurement Act 2007.
- x. A sworn affidavit confirming that none of the company Directors has ever been convicted in any Court of Law in line with the provisions of Part iv. Section 16(6e-f) of public Procurement Act 2007.
Collection of tender Documents
Interested, competent and reputable companies should tender documents from the office of the Director, Abuja Environmental Protection Board, Plot 776 Cadastral AO off Zakari Maimalari Street, Central Business District, upon the presentation of a evidence of payment of non refundable Tender fee of N20, 000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira) paid to Abuja Environmental Protection Board through Sterling Bank Plc, Account Number 312133709110.
Submission
The Tender documents (Technical and Financial), six copies each (ONE Original and Five other copies) should be in a sealed envelope labeled as “Bid for the Rehabilitation and Distillation of City (Lot……)” for lots 1-10, while for Lot 11 & 12 should be labeled as Bid for Supply of……….(Lot……..)” All pages of the bid documents (Financial & Technical) must be dully endorsed by the bidders and should be submitted at the office of the Director, Abuja Environmental Protection Board, Plot 776 Cadastral AO off Zakari Maimalari street, Central Business District, Abuja , on or before 12.noon on 30th June 2010. The representative of the bidding companies are invited to witness the opening of the tenders on the same day by 2.00pm at the Conference Hall of Area councils services Commission, Area 3, behind Abuja Open University.
Please Note:
- i. No single company/contractor should bid for more than two lots
- ii. Late submission will be reject.
- iii. This advertisement to tender shall not be construed to be a commitment on the part Abuja environmental Protection Board not shall it entitle the tenderer to make any claim what-so-ever and or seek any indemnity from the Board by virtue of such tenderer having responded to the advert.
- iv. Tenders’ Register must be signed on the submission of Tender.
- v. The Board may, at its own discretion, reject any bid which does not confirm to the basics bidding rules.
- vi. The bid amount should be quoted in Nigerian currency.
