Invitation to Tender (Technical and Financial) For the Implementation of 2010 Budget

Introduction

The Federal Ministry of Works in furtherance to her statutory mandate and in the implementation of the 2010 Budget Appropriation is desirous to undertake various works, goods and services.

The Services Projects include. The implementation of a comprehensive and integrated Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as well as the implementation of a structured project management system for improved service delivery in line with the Ministry’s mandate.

The scope of Works and Services are as follows:

The Scope of works and services include:

1 Procurement, Equipping, Deployment and Support of

  1. i.            Data Centre, Disaster Recovery, LAN Equipment and Enterprise Messaging and Collaboration;
  2. ii.            Microsoft Enterprise Licenses and Provision of Services such as Microsoft ESA and Autodesk Licenses;

4 Procurement and Support of Desktop PCs, Laptop PCs & Deployment of Client Software Imaging Service; Printers, Scanners, UPS Solutions & Peripherals; Maintenance of Existing Computer Systems and Peripherals in Continued use at the Ministry.
5 Setup and Support of FMW Joint Project Management Office; Basic and Advanced Office Productivity Tools Training; Specialist Line of Business Applications Training for Users and Prince -2 Project Management Training for Field Personnel; Network and ICT Infrastructure Management and Administrator Training
6 Procurement, Deployment and Support of;

  1. i.            Geospatial National Highways ERP Solution and Platform Software and     Consultancy,
  2. ii.            Integrated Administrative, Procurement, Planning & Reporting Solution
  3. Management Consultancy Services
7 Organisational Effectiveness and Change Management covering the following Sub-themes:

  • Staff information collation/Review/Analysis + Biometrics Enumeration
  • Transformation process framing, development of framework for re-positioning of the Federal Ministry of Works and transformation support office services

  • Work load analysis for Federal Ministry of Works Headquarters and Zonal
