- This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that Appeared in the dg Market website issue of Thursday, July 22,201 0.
- The Federal Government of Nigeria has applied for a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of Kano State Health System Development Project II, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for Procurement of Motor Vehicles and Generators
- The Kano State Health System Development Projects (HSDP II), now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply of Motor Vehicles and Generators. Bidders may bid for any one or more lots and discounts offered for any lot would be accepted.

- Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and are open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines,
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below between the hours of 9.00am through 4.00pm on Mondays to Thursdays and 9.00am through 1.00pm on Fridays, except on public holidays.
- Qualifications requirements include: All, as contained/ listed in the BDS of the Bid Document A margin of preference for certain goods manufactured domestically shall not be applicable. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents
- A complete set of Bidding Documents in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon the payment of a non -refundable fee N10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira) only, or USS 100.00 (One Hundred United States Dollars) only. The method of payment will be in Cash or Bank Draft. The Bidding Documents will be collected by hand, or sent by courier services on request.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 11. 00 am, Thursday 28th October, 2010. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 11. 00 am, Thursday 28th October, 2010, All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of not less than 3% of the Bid Price or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency,
