Invitation to Participate in the Tendering Exercise for the Supply of Office Furniture’s, Equipment and Networking of Archives for Data Storage

    1. The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), through the FCT Archives and History Bureau (AHB) has a provision in the FCT 2010 statutory Budget for under listed procurement and is hereby inviting compete and interested Companies to submit Technical and Financial bids.
    2. Projects
      • Procurement of Equipment and Networking of Archives for Data storage.
      • Procurement of Office Furniture’s.

      3. Technical (Pre-Qualification) Requirements

        Interested companies must forward copies of the following documents and the originals to be available for sighting during the opening.

        • Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Articles of Memorandum of Association.
        • Audited accounts prepared by a Chartered Accounting Firm.
        • Tax payment E-ticket and Tax clearance Certificate for the last three years.
        • Verifiable documentary evidences of similar jobs successfully executed within the last three years.
        • Current Bank Reference and statement of account for the last 12 months.
        • Letter of authority to cross check the company’s account.
        • Interested companies should have up to date returns with CAC and that due diligence could be conducted.
        • An Affidavit in line with the provision of Part iv, Section 6 (e-f) of the Public Procurement Act, 2007.
        • Evidence of compliance with the provision of Section 16(d) of the Public Procurement Act, 2007.
        • Letter of introduction of an authorised representative of the bidder with his/her sample signature and position in the company.
        • The bidder should show evidence of Registration with National Pension Commission and up to date remittance of employee pension fund contribution.

        4  Collection of Temper Documents

          Interested Companies should collect tender documents from the office of the Director, Archives and History Bureau, 5 Peace Drive, Beside AGIS, Area 11, Garki – Abuja, upon presentation of evidence of payment per project N10, 000.00 (Ten thousand naira only) non-refundable Tender fees into Treasury Revenue Account at Fidelity Bank (Central Area) Account no. 051503010000426.

          5.  Submission

            The Technical and tender (Financial bid) documents should each be sealed and labelled (Technical or Financial bids as appropriate) separately and the two envelopes be put in another envelope that should be labelled as “(Supply of Various Items to FCT Archives and History Bureau” Indicating the Project. The tender documents (Financial bid) should be submitted in three copies (one original and two other copies) and all pages are to be duly endorsed by the bidder. The document is to be dropped in the Tender Box in the Office of the Deputy Director (Tenders) former Public Building Department, Room 043, Area 11, Garki – Abuja, on or before 4th October, 2010, at 10:00am. The representatives of the bidding companies are invited to witness the opening of the tenders on the same day at Room G9 Tenders Board Office FCT Archives and History Bureau, No 5 Peace Drive, Area 11, Garki -Abuja, by 12:00noon.

            Note:

            • The representatives of the bidding companies and members of Public especially Civil Right Organisations are invited to witness the opening of the tenders on the same day at 12.00pm at Room G9 Archives Building in the Office of Tenders Board but should adhere to the Code of Conduct for procurement observers issued by the Bureau of Public Procurement.
            • Bidders are not allowed to bid for more than, one project.
            • FCTA is not bound to accept lowest or any other tender.
