Invitation for Pre-Qualification to Tender
The office of the Surveyor-General intends to execute certain projects, and Procurement of Survey equipment as provided in the 2012 Capital Budget. Accordingly, reputable and competent contractors are hereby-invited to submit Pre- Qualification documents to tender for the projects.
Lot 1: Procurement of 1 No CG-5 (Scinrex Auto Grav) Gravity Meter with range of up to 8000m Gal and complete accessories, software’s, and other components inclusive of training and after sales services.
Lot 2: Procurement and Installation of Central (Fault Tolerant) Stratus Server with 2T. Hard disk, duo core processor, each running on 128 GB RAM without disk or flash drive.
Lot 3: Production of FCT Street Guide Map in Booklet Format.
Lot 4: Digital Street Guide Map of Katsina.
Lot 5: Renovation of office and Installation of equipment.
3. Pre-Qualification Requirements:
Interested and eligible contractors are required to submit the following documents for consideration:-
(i) Evidence of Company’s Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
(ii) Company’s Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years
(iii) Evidence of VAT Registration and past Remittances
(iv) Evidence of compliance with Pension Act 2004
(v) Company’s Profile reflecting staff strength and equipment holding
(vi) Evidence of financial capability and support from Bank
(vii) Evidence of competence on capacity building in Gravimentry and Geodesy or being a manufacturer’s representative, (for Lot 1)
(viii) Evidence of previous experience on similar projects including procurement and installation of high performance server as indicated in Lot 2; and
(ix) Evidence of Registration with Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON) and payment of 2012 annual subscription fee for pure survey projects.
4. Submission of Tender Documents:
Interested Companies are to submit two (2) copies of pre-qualification documents clearly marked: Project Title and Lot No addressed to “The Secretary, Ministerial Tenders Board” (MTB), OSGOF, 8 Yawuri Street, Garki II, Abuja and drop same into the Tender Box of the OSGOF on or before Thursday, 21st June 2012 by 12:00 noon.
5. Public Opening of Bids:
Opening of bids will take place immediately after the close of submission at 2:00pm on the same day in the Conference Room of the OSGOF. Contractors or their representatives, NGOs and interested members of the public, professional bodies including NIS are invited to witness the opening of the bids, please.
Prospective bidders are to note that response to this invitation does not place any commitment or obligation on this office for award of contract. Only pre-qualified bidders will be invited to tender for the projects accordingly, please.
