Invitation for Pre-qualification for year 2008/2009/2010 (Merged ETF Normal Intervention Projects

The Federal Polytechnic Bauchi wishes to advertise for the following services under the year 2008, 2009, & 20 1 0 (Merged) ETF Intervention Projects;

1. Construction of Agric. Engineering Technology Department. (ETF Project No. POLY/BAUCHI/ETF/08-09- 10/01
2. Furnishing of constructed Agric. Engineering Technology Department POLY/BAUCHI/ETF/ 08-09-10/02
3. Construction of 510 Seater Multi-purpose Lecture Hall. POLY/BAUCHI/ETF/08.09- 1 0/03
4. Furnishing of constructed 510 Seater Multi- purpose Lecture Hall. POLY/BAUCHI/ETF/08-09-l0/04
5. Construction of Mass Communication Department. POLY/BAUCHI/ETF/08-09-1 0/05
6. Furnishing of Mass Communication Department. POLY/BAUCHI /ETF/08-09- 1 0/06
7. Procurement of Equipment for Academic Departments. POLY/BAUCHI/ETF/08-09-10/07

Pre-Qualification Requirements

1. Evidence of Incorporation by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
2. Company Audited Accounts for the last Three (3) years (2008, 2009 & 2010).
3. Tax Clearance Certificate for the last Three (3) years (2008, 2009 & 201 0),
4. VAT Registration and evidence of VAT remittances.
5. Verifiable evidence of previous experience in a similar job
6. Evidence of Financial Capability from a recognized Bank.
7. Evidence of Compliance- fulfillment of statutory obligations to employees of the Company with respect to pension.
8. Evidence of Community and Social Responsibility.
9. Experience/Technical Qualification of key personnel with copies of Certificates.
10. Equipment and Technology Capacity
11. Sworn Affidavit that none of the Partners of the Company has been “Convicted in any Country for any Criminal offences relating to fraud or financial impropriety”
12. Sworn Affidavit indicating whether any Officer of Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the Company.

Not: Application for pre-qualification shall not be construed to be a commitment on the part of Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi nor shall it shall it entitle any person to make any claim and or seek indemnity from the Polytechnic by virtue of such person having responded to this advert. Consequently, Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi shall not enter into correspondences with unsuccessful applicants.

Submission of Documents

The documents are to be appropriately registered with the undersigned and to be dropped into the Tender Box, situated at the Rector’s Office, in a sealed envelope marked “Project Title” at the top right corner of the envelop, not later than 11^th July, 2011.

The submissions are to be opened at 12:30pm of the same date at the Council Chamber of the Polytechnic and all applicants are invited to attend. Please note that this is not an invitation to tender and only Contractors that have been Pre-qualified will be invited to Tender.
