Invitation for Expression of Interest for Valuation of FAAN Assets, Land, Buildings, Plants

and Machinery, Vehicles, Furniture and Fittings.

 

The Federal Airports; Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) in pursuance of its statutory functions seeks to invite reputable “Estate Surveying and Valuation Firms” to

carry out Asset Valuation assignment in our Airports as grouped below;

 

LOT A:       MMA, Ibadan, Headquarters

LOT B:       Port Harcourt, Calabar, Benin/Osubi, Enugu, Owerri, Akure, Makurdi

LOT C:       Abuja, Yola, Maiduguri, Minna, Katsina

LOT D:       Kano, Sokoto, Kaduna/Zaria, Ilorin, Jos/Bauchi

Scope of Work

The scope of work shall include, amongst others in each of the group the valuation of both fixed and moveable Assets, Furniture/Fittings etc. of the Authority.

A.      Prequalification Requirements

1.       Evidence of Firms Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)

2.       Certified true copy of Memorandum and Article of Association

3.       Firm’s profile/brochure to include detailed CV of Key personnel

4.       Bank reference from reputable bank with audited statement of the firm for the last three (3) years i.e. 2007, 2008, 2009.

5.       Evidence of valid Tax clearance certificate and audited finance statements for the last three (3) years i.e. 2008-2010.

6.       Veritable evidence of similar works successfully completed in the Aviation Industry.

7.       Evidence of Membership/Registration with the relevant professional bodies

a.  Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors/Valuers (NIEVS)

b. Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON)

c. Current payment of professional fees.

 

8.       VAT Registration Certificate/Evidence of remittance.

9.       Evidence of fulfillment of obligation to pay Pension

10.     A sworn affidavit disclosing the following:

  • That the documents submitted for the tender are not only genuine but correct.
  • That the Director(s) of the Company has never been convicted by any Court of Law.
  • That the Company if not bankrupt
  • Whether or not any of the officers of the relevant Committees of FAAN or BPP is a former or present Director of the Company

 

B.      Submission Procedure

All submissions must be as follows;

i.     Five (5) copies, Including one (1) original copy, of neatly-bound documents with each section separated by a divider and in an envelope clearly marked “Expression of Interest for Valuation for FAAN” Hand delivered and addressed to the General Manager Procurement, FAAN Headquarters, Ikeja. Tel: 08033618001.

ii.    The requested documents should be submitted on or before 25th July 2011.

 

C     Closing And Opening of Expression of Interest Documents

Submission of all document(s) shall close by 11.30am while documents will be opened on the 8th August 2011 at 12 noon in the Commercial and Business Development Conference Room, FAAN, Headquarters, Ikeja, Lagos.

 

D.      Important Information

1.       FAAN reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any claims made on the documents submitted by companies.

2.       Failure to comply with the Instruction and provide any required documents(s) may result in disqualification.

3.       FAAN reserves the right to reject any or all the documents.

4.       Documents submitted late shall be rejected.

5.       Submission should be very clear on the areas of specification and LOT(s) of interest.

6.       FAAN reserve the right to verify the company address/location indicated in the document.

7.       Original documents must be produced for sighting on the day of tender opening and at any other time requested.

8.       Only shortlisted companies will be contacted.

9.       No communication will be entered into with any unsuccessful applicant.
