Invitation for Expression of Interest
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Nigeria is calling for Expression of Interest from registered service providers for the following services:
a) Blanket, High Thermal Fleece
b) Bucket, Heavy Duty Plastic, (15 Litres)
c) Jerry Can Semi Collapsible (10 Litres)
d) Cooking pots (4 pieces in a set)
e) Bathing/washing Soap (200 grams)
f) Mattresses (Standard Foam measuring 75 X 36 X 6 inches)
g) Lantern (battery operated, 6V, 4AH, 2X8″, 6W)
h) Used clothes (for children; 0-12 years)
i) Clothes (adult, female)
All companies that wish to participate in the process are required to provide the information below which will be used to assess the respective companies’ suitability to qualify for invitation to participate in the future procurement process for the services mentioned above. Interested companies must provide the following documents.
- Legal registration of the company;
- Company Profile;
- Confirmation of financial capacity of the company (3 years Audited Statement of Accounts);
- Evidence of relevant contracts handled in the past
- Reference contact list;
The UNHCR shall contact ONLY companies that meet its requirements of the services as advertised and ONLY those companies shall be invited to participate in the subsequent procurement process. The closing date for this expression of interest is 5pm local time, 26th of February, 2013. All submission must be made in compliance with the instructions as stated above, marked “Expression of Interest UNHCR Nigeria” and addressed to:

For any clarification on any aspect of this Expression of Interest advert, please send an e-mail to nigab@unhcr.org quoting “Expression of Interest UNHCR Nigeria” as the subject of the e-mail. As part of the prequalification process, UNHCR may visit the locations of the vendors to assess their capacity as stated on the EOI form. Only the pre-qualified vendors would be invited to participate in the Invitation to Bid and/or the Request for Proposals. Any unsolicited attempt to influence UNHCR internal selection process in favour of a particular vendor will result in the immediate disqualification of same. Nothing in this EOI shall be taken to form a binding legal contract. The potential subsequent procurement will be governed by the rules and regulations of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
