Invitation for Bids for Procurement of Computers/Office Equipment, Library Books and Generators
1. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of Osun State Health Systems Development Project II (HSDP II) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payment under the contract for the Procurement of Computers, Office Equipment, Library Books and Generators.
2. This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in the Development Business Market of 1st April, 2009.
3. The Osun HSDP II under additional financing invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Procurement of Computers, Office Equipment, Library Book and Generators.

4. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines. Procurement under IDA Credits and is open to all bidders from eligible source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Office of the Project Manager, Osun State Health System Development Project II. Ministry of Health, Gbongan Road, Osogbo, Osun State from 8.00a.m to 4.00p.m. Monday to Friday.
6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) Bank Draft payable to Osun HSDP II, Gbongan Road, Osogbo, The document will be available on or before Tuesday 17th May, 2011.
7. There will be a Pre-Bid meeting on Thursday 16th June, 2011 at the Osun State HSDP II Project Office, Gbongan-Ibadan Road, Osogbo by 12.00 noon prompt.
8. Bids must be addressed to the Project Manager and delivered to the address stated in paragraph 5 above before or at 12 Noon Thursday 30th June, 2011. All bids must be accompanied by appropriate Bid security. Late Bids will be rejected.
9. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or representatives who choose to attend at the office of the Osun State Health Systems Development Project II Ministry of Health, Gbongan-Ibadan Road, Osogbo, Osun State On Thursday 30th June, 2011 at 12noon.
