In Nigeria, FHI is currently engaged in providing public health services and in undertaking research in HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, and re productive health in partnership with the Government of Nigeria, and with funding from the United State aid programs, the Global Fund and private foundations and corporations. In order to improve infrastructural support for the rapidly expanding services in the country, FHI is inviting interested vendors to tender for the supply of one unit of electricity diesel generator, which will be installed in the country office in Abuja.

Pre-Qualification Criteria
Interested bidders should provide the following information in their bid document:
1. Company profile, including names and contact details of key personnel
2. Evidence of statutory registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission
3. Evidence of financial capability such as bank guarantee
4. three years tax clearance certificate
5. Tax identification number (TIN)
6. Valid verifiable business address
7. Availability and expected delivery date, including installation of the generator
8. Evidence of authorized dealership with FG Wilson (UK)

Bid documents should be submitted in hard copies in sealed envelopes, which should be marked “Tender for the Supply of Generator” at the top right corner, on or before Tuesday 12th April 2011 by 5.00pm on to:
