ARCN_CARGS PROJECT- FEED STANDARDS
Invitation for the Service of Software Developer
Quotations are hereby invited from competent software developers to develop a Least-Cost Ration Formulation Software for the on-going ARCN-CARGS Project on “Development of Feed Standards for the Nigerian Poultry”. The project involves surveys of research results on poultry feed ingredients and nutrition work done in Nigeria for the past 10 to 20 years. The data obtained from the survey shall constitute data base for the software to be developed to make it relevant for the Nigerian Poultry Industry.
Features Required in the Software
The software to be developed is expected to have among others, the following features:
- Ability to add/remove/modify ingredients’ or nutrients’ names or compositions or values/costs etc
- Ability to add/remove/modify ration formulae
- Support for Text and Graphic Reports on Ingredients, Nutrients and Formulas
- Ability to perform data analysis on ingredients and nutrients and also capable of interfacing with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Permit Export/Import of data from a data base
- Localized for Nigeria in terms of current, nutrient standards and feed ingredient composition table
- Ability to support multiple plants
Bidders shall be expected to provide evidence of previous software(s) developed for other clients.
Time for Project Completion and Delivery
Nine months from the date of award of the contract.
Method of Application
Interested bidders are to submit photocopies of relevant documents including their Company Profile in triplicates. Detailed copy of the curriculum vitae of the individual or of the MD of the Company shall be required. Applications with all documents specified are to be sent to reach the address provided below on or before 10th July, 2012.
