Invitation for Bids

1.       This Invitation to Bid follows the General Procurement Notice for the Project that appears in the Development Business, issue no. 637 of August 31, 2004.

2.       The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a loan from the African Development Bank in various currencies to finance the cost of the Borno State Fadama Development Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this fund will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the Procurement of Vehicle.

3.       The Borno State Fadama Development Office (SFDO) is responsible for coordinating the project at the state level, now invites sealed bid from eligible bidders for the supply of under listed Vehicle.

4.       Bidding is opened to all eligible bidders as defined in the rules and procedures under the African Development Bank Group.

5.       The Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders at Borno State Fadama Development Office (SFDO), Borno State Agricultural Development programme Office, BOSADP, P. M. B. 1452, No 2, Shehu Laminu Way, Maiduguri, on the submission of a written request to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10, 000.00) for a copy of the document. Sales starts by 9:00am-4:00pm Mondays to Thursdays and 9.00am to 12:30pm on Fridays

6.       Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 10:00am on 9^th May, 2012 and must be accompanied by a security of 2% of Bid Price

7.       Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend on 9^th May, by 10:00am, Borno State Agricultural Development programme Office, BOSADP Conference Hall, No. 2, Shehu Laminu Way, Marduguri.
