Invitation for Pre-Qual1fication and Subsequent Bidding in Respect of 2011 Capital Project
In compliance with Due-Process requirement for certification of procedure for procurement of Goods and Services, the Management of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi wishes to pre-qualify competent contractors for the execution of approved 2011 Capital Project.
2.0 Project: Interested contractors are hereby invited to apply for pre-qualification for the construction of the Main Administrative Building.
3.0 Pre-Qualification Requirements
i. Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission,
ii. Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years; 2008, 2009 and 2010.
iii. Value Added Tax/Evidence of Tax Remittance
iv. Audited account for past three years; 2008, 2009 and 2010.
v. Bank Reference Letter/Bank support showing evidence of financial capability to execute the Project
vi. List of similar and verifiable projects successfully executed by your company with locations, letters of award and completion certificates within the last five (5) years
Company Resume,
Evidence of Registration with FMW/FME or Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi.
ix. Evidence of compliance with PENCOM Commission
x. Evidence of Corporate Social Responsibility.
4.0 Submission of Applications
Application for pre-qualification should be submitted in sealed envelopes, forwarded to be the

P.M.B 13, Auchi,
Edo State
And dropped in the Tender Box in the Registrar’s office not later than 14th April, 2011
The submitted Pre-Qualification Documents will be opened immediately in the Polytechnic Boardroom at the Expiration of the deadline.
All tenderers and the general public are invited to attend the Pre-Qualification Opening exercise.
Note: The invitation for pre-qualification is not an invitation to tender as only pre-qualified contractors will be invited to tender.
The Institution shall not bear the cost of preparation and submission of application for pre-qualification.
