Tender Notice
In its effort to improve the living standard of its people, Rimin Gado Local
Government Area of Kano State wishes to undertake its development projects.
This is to invite suitably qualified contractors/companies for pre-qualification to tender for the following projects/works as listed below:
1. Construction of 5No. Standard Blocks of Classroom at required places.
2. Drilling of 10 No. Hand pumps at various locations
3. Construction of 5No. Islamiyya Blocks of Classroom at various locations.
4. Construction of Drainage & rehabilitation of feeder road from Kofar Arewa to Kawari (Gulu Ward).
5. Construction of Computer Centre at Rimin Gado Town.
6. Construction of 515 M2 Coat Surface Dressing Road at Local Government Secretariat Premises.
7. General Renovation of Local Government Staff Houses.
8. Construction of Works Department Offices.
9. Construction of Women Development Centre.
10. Construction of 2No. Maternity Hospitals at Rimin Gado & Yalwa.
Pre-Qualification Criteria
- Evidence of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission.
- Registration with State Works Registration Board.
- Company’s audited account for three (3) years.
- Evidence of Tax clearance for three (3) years.
- Evidence of Financial capability and/or Banking support.
- Experience and Technical qualification of key personnel.
- Records of previous projects executed and evidence of knowledge of the industry.
- Equipment, plant and technology capacity.
- Annual Turnover.
- VAT Registration and evidence of past VAT remittance.
- Local resource utilization.
- Community and Social Responsibility.
- Any additional information that may enhance the company for the award of the contract.
Submission of Pre-Qualification:
All eligible contractors/companies should forward their pre-qualification documents to the Office of the Director Personnel Management (DPM) Rimin Gado Local Government Kano State in a sealed envelope marked construction of (Name of the Contract) to reach on the 21st November, 2012.
