Request for Expression on Interest (EOI) Consultancy Services
The Government of Cross River State through the Ministry of Environment intends to improve on its waste management capability by carrying out a number of studies on solid waste.
Pursuant to this, consultants with proven experience are hereby invited to submit expression of interest for carrying out any of the following studies:
a.) Waste Characterization Study of Solid Waste generated in Calabar Metropolis (Calabar Municipality and Calabar South).
b.) Study on Transportation of Solid Waste from points of waste generation (e.g. households, markets, shopping centres etc) to final disposal sites in Calabar Metropolis (Calabar Municipality and Calabar South), Ugep Urban, Ikom Urban, Ogoja Urban and Obudu Urban.
c.) Study and design of a recycle village tor each of the following areas: Calabar Metropolis (Calabar Municipality and Calabar South), Ugep Urban, Ikom Urban, Ogoja Urban and Obudu Urban.
Interested consultants are required to finish the Ministry of Environment, Calabar with the following information:
1. Copy of Certificate of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
2. Company profile which must include:
- Organizational structure and key professional staff with relevant qualifications and experience
- Curriculum Vitae of key professional staff
- Evidence of having successfully carried out similar consultancy services Within the last five years and details of on-going project. •
- Audited Accounts of Company for the last three (3) years
- Copy of Company Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three (3) years which shall be verified and the original sighted on demand.
- Evidence of Financial capability from a reputable Nigerian Bank.
- Evidence of Registration with relevant professional bodies,
- VAT registration certificate and evidence of remittance on previous earnings.
Expression of interest must be delivered to the address below on or before March 12th, 2012 by 12 noon.

Three copies of expression of interest must be packaged in sealed envelopes clearly marked “EXPRESSION ON INTEREST AS A CONSULTANCY FIRM TO CARRYOUT… (any of the studies listed in A or B or C above)” and left in the appropriate tender box at the above address. The name and mailing address of the firms should be clearly marked on the envelopes.
All EOIs will be opened immediately after the deadline in the Ministry of Environment Conference Room in the presence of bidders in attendance.
