Invitation for Tender for the Supply of Agricultural Tractors and Implements to Taraba State Government, Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources

The Taraba State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources intends to purchase One Hundred and Twenty (120) unit of New Massey Ferguson MF Model MF 375 Tractors upgraded (75hp), 120,3 Disc MF Ploughs, 120, 20-Disc Harrows and 120 unit Trailers, (5 tons) . Accordingly the State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources invites reputable suppliers to bid for the supply of these tractors and implements. Accredited dealers of Massey Ferguson (MF) network have added advantage.
Requirements:
Interested Bidders are invited to submit technical and financial Tenders (commercial tenders) broken down as follows:
A. Requirements for Technical Tenders:
1. Evidence of incorporation or Business Name registration
2. Registration with relevant State Ministry and relevant category
3. Company audited account for 3 years
4. Evidence of tax clearance certificate for 3 years
5. Evidence of financial capacity and Banking support
6- Experiences/technical qualification and experience of key personnel
7. Similar project executed and evidence of knowledge of the industry
8. Equipment and technology capacity
9. Technical report on equipments to be used.
10. Annual turnover
11. VAT Registration and Evidence of Past VAT remittance
B. Requirement for Financial/Commercial Tenders
1. Schedule of requirements and its prices
2. Schedule of work program for the equipment
Interested bidders should purchase the bidding documents at the office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Jalingo on payment of a non-refundable N25, 000 tenders fees in cash to the Taraba State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, P.M.B 1080, Jalingo. Between the working hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday on or before 6th May, 2013.
Bidder should complete the financial or commercial tender (Bid) and price all relevant items.
RESPONSE TO INFORMATION ABOVE: shall be submitted in two parts
(a) The company Technical specification (tender) shall be bound and submitted (One original copy and two photocopies) sealed in an envelope marked Technical tender for TRS/ MOANR/ BD/TR/TS/ 2013 at the top left- hand corner of the envelope.
(b) Completed financial or commercial tender shall be bounded and submitted (one original and two photocopies) sealed in an envelope marked financial or commercial tender for TRS/MOANR/BD/FC/2013 at the top left hand corner of envelope.
C) Completed bidding documents should be returned on or 6th May, 2013.
