The Sokoto State Ministry of Education hereby invites interested reputable companies or contractors with requisite experience and competence to submit technical and financial bids in respect of the under-listed projects to be executed within the premises of Sultan Muhammadu Maccido Institute of Qur’an and General Studies, Sokoto.
Project Description
1. Rehabilitation and renovation of 10 Nos. Blocks of 3-Classrooms;
2. Rehabilitation and renovation of 2 Nos. Blocks of 4 classrooms;
3. Rehabilitation and renovation of 1 No. Introductory Technology Laboratory;
4. Rehabilitation and renovation of 3 Nos. Multipurpose Lecturer Halls;
5. Rehabilitation and renovation of 14 Nos. Student Hostels;
6. Repairs and renovation of 2 Nos. Dining Halls;
7. Repairs and renovation of I No. Administrative Block;
8. Repairs and renovation of 1 No. School Mosque;
9. Repairs and renovation of Nursery Play Ground;
10. Rehabilitation of Internal Road Networks;
11. Rehabilitation of External Boundary Walls;
12. Rehabilitation and renovation of 2 Nos. Laundry Blocks;
13. Rehabilitation of 5 Nos. VIP Compartment toilets;
14. Conversion of 4Nos. WC Toilets to VIP Pit Latrines;
15. Supply of 200 Nos. 25xl200x2400mm Plywood Dining Tables;
16. Supply of 400 Nos. 25x450x2400mm Plywood Benches and Tables;
17. Supply of 150 Nos. of Double Decker Beds;
18. Supply of 20 Nos. Single Beds;
19. Supply of 700 Nos. Vitafoam Student Size Mattresses;
20. Construct/fabricate 51 Nos. Lecture Hall Modular Type Tables and Chairs (Girls Wing);
21. Construct/fabricate 51 Nos. Lecture Hall Modular Type Tables and Chairs (Primary Section);
22. Construct/fabricate 51 Nos. Lecture Hall Modular Type Tables and Chairs (Boys Wing);
General Requirement for Bidding
All bidders are expected to provide the following:
1. Evidence of incorporation from Corporate Affairs Commission;
2. Tax clearance for the past 3 years (2010, 2011 and 2012)
3. Evidence of VAT Registration and remittance;
4. Evidence of previous experience in relevant jobs with copies of Awards and Completion Certificate;
5. Evidence of financial capacity and or Banking Support;
6. Non Refundable Tender Fee of N20, 000:00
Submission of Bids Documents
The Bids Documents are to be submitted to the undersigned in sealed and signed envelopes marked SMMIQGS Tender Bid to reach him not later than 11th September, 2012.
