Invitation for Pre-qualification Tender for year 2012 Capital Projects in Tertiary Institution(s) in the State

The Ministry of Higher Education, Borno State hereby invites Tender from suitable qualified Companies or firms for pre-qualification tender. Interested firms are to indicate interest as per the project below, located in the state capital.

1)    Borno state University, Maiduguri;

Renovation/Rehabilitation of Borno State University

a)       7 No. Twin Two-Bedroom Bungalow

b)      4 No. Student Hostel Block Type C

c)       Administrative Block

d)      Library Complex

e)       2 No. Lecture Theatre

f)       4 No. Toilet Blocks

g)       Cafeteria Block

h)      4 No. Computer Blocks

i)       2 No. Stores Blocks

j)       Generator House

Pre- qualification requirements:

Interested companies are to submit the following documents for pre-qualification and tender:

i)                   Incorporation registration with corporate affairs commission (CAC)

ii)                Evidence of registration with Borno State Government as Contractor and Ministry of Higher Education

iii)              Tax clearance certificate for last 3 years

iv)              Company VAT registration certificate

v)                Company profile and qualifications of some key officers of the organisation

vi)              A letter of ability to perform from your bankers

vii)           Letter of guarantee insurance bond

viii)         Evidence of similar job executed, e.g. certificate of practical completion of projects undertaken

Note:

You are to come along with your original copies of all documents attached for verification.

Method of Application:

Interested companies are to submit pre-qualification documents and If interested to tender, you can collect tender documents on payment of twenty five thousand naira (N25,000.00) non refundable fees and N25,000.00 for registration with ministry of higher education as a contractor from the secretary ministerial tender board (Director planning/Research and Statistics, ministry of higher education)

Returns of documents to be made to secretary, ministerial tender board, marked on the right hand top comer pre-qualification document or tender documents in sealed envelopes, addressed to Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Higher Education, Headquarters, Borno State on or before 30^th November, 2012.
