Invitation for Pre Qualification of Contractors for 2011 Tetfund Normal and Library Development Intervention Projects
Introduction:
In compliance with the due process requirements of the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru hereby invites reputable and interested Companies /Contractors with relevant cognate experience and good track of record of performance/deliverance for pre-qualification for 2011 TETFUND NORMAL AND LIBRARY DEVELOPMENT INTERVENTION for the underlisted projects
- A. Normal Intervention projects
LOT I: Construction of Entrepreneurship Development Centre TETFUND NORMAL INTERVENTION POLY/ZNGERU/TETFUND/11/01
LOT II: Construction of Academic Staff Office Block TETFUND NORMAL INTERVENTION POLY/ZNGERU/TETFUND/11/02
LOT III: Procurement of Furniture for the Entrepreneurship Development Centre TETFUND NORMAL INTERVENTION POLY/ZNGERU/TETFUND/11/03
LOT IV: Procurement of Furniture for the Academic Staff Office Block TETFUND NORMAL INTERVENTION POLY/ZNGERU/TETFUND/11/04

- C. Pre-Qualification Criteria
To qualify for consideration, interested Contractors/Suppliers are required to submit the following verifiable documents.
- Incorporation/Region with Corporate Affairs Commission.
- Company VAT Registration Certificate for the last three (30 years
- Current Tax Clearance Certificate in the last three (3) years.
- A Letter of Ability to perform from your Banker(s)
- Evidence of relevant plants and equipment.
- Company profile including Names and Qualifications.
- Evidence of Registration with Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru.
- Evidence of similar projects earlier handled.
- Office Residence Address.
- Evidence of Company Audited Account for three (3) years.
Pre-Qualification Fees
Interested Contractors and Suppliers are to pay a Non-refundable pre-qualification, fee of fifty thousand naira (N50, 000.00) for LOT I, Thirty Thousand naira (30,000.00) for LOT II, Twenty thousand Naira (N20.000.00) for LOTS III, V, VI, and VII and Ten (N10.000.00) each is for LOTS I and II of Library Development Intervention. All payments should be made at the Bursary Department of Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru.
Return of Documents
Pre-Qualification documents listed above (c ) should be returned along with the original copy of the receipt for the payment of appropriate non-refundable pre-qualification fees in a sealed envelope marked “Pre-Qualification Documents (state the Lot/Ref. No.)’ and addressed to:

F. Important Notice
- Only shortlisted Companies shall be invited to progress with the main tender.
- This advertised of “Invitation to Pre-Qualification” shall not be construed to be an invitation to tender nor a commitment on the part of Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru to award any form of contract to your Company. Nor shall it entitle any Company submitting documents to claim indemnity from the polytechnic. The Polytechnic reserves the right to take final decision on any of the documents received in your pre-qualification package.
