Expression of Interest (EOI) For Consultancy Service for Year 2012 TETFUND Special Intervention Projects
- A. Preamble
Interested qualified consultants with relevant experience are invited by the
Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero to send in
Expression of Interest (EOI) to be used for pre-qualification which is the first stage in the process for the selection of suitable consultant(s) to render high quality consultancy services in the following areas:
Architectural, Civil/Structural, Electrical/Mechanical and Quantity Surveying.
- B. Pre-Qualification Requirements
Interested reputable firms must have requisite competence and possess the following:
(i) Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
(ii) Evidence of Registration as Consultant with the Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero
(iii) Verifiable Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the Pass Three Years.
(iv) Evidence of Registration with ITF.
(v) Evidence of Registration with PENCOM.
(vi) Verifiable Evidence of Audited Accounts, for the past three years,
(vii) Company Profile with Detailed List of Principal Technical Personnel including their Qualification and Registration with Professional Bodies.
(viii) Evidence of Corporate Registration with Professional Bodies: ARGON, COREN etc (as applicable),
(ix) List of Similar Services Done or Rendered Previously,
(x) Evidence of Financial Capability and bank Support (where applicable).
- C. Evaluation Criteria
All interested consultants are expected to submit all documents listed above as failure to comply fully may lead to disqualification.
- D. Other Relevant Information
Only consultants who have successfully pre-qualified will proceed to the next stage and they would be notified by the University.
Consultant can seek clarification or more information by writing officially to the Director, Physical Planning and Maintenance of the University before the deadline for submission of the EOI.
The University reserves the right to reject any or all documents and to terminate entire selection process at any time without any explanation and any liability to the University.
- E. Submission Of Pre-Qualification Documents
The documents must be forwarded in sealed envelope and clearly labeled “Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services” at the top right corner and addressed to:

Aliero, P.M.B. 1144, Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, Nigeria.
- F. Closing Data For Submission
The closing date for submission applications is 7th March, 2013 at 12.00 noon.
G. Opening
(a) The pre-qualification documents received are to be opened on the above closing date at 2.30pm in the Senate Chamber of the University.
(b) All prospective consultants/contractors shall be invited to the public opening ceremony.
(c) Only pre-qualified consultants/contractors shall be invited to tender.
