2011 UBE Intervention Funds Projects

Invitation to Tender

Yobe State Universal Basic Education Board is embarking on UBE 2011 intervention funds projects spread across the 17 LGEAs of the State.

Scope of work: 2011 UBE Intervention Fund Projects (ECCDE, Primary and JSS across the State)

LOT- 1,       Construction of a block of 2 classrooms office and store ECCDE

LOT-2,        Construction of a block of 2 classrooms office and store Primary

schools (Difficult Terrain)

LOT-3,        Construction of a block of 2 classrooms office and store (Simple Terrain)

LOT-4,        Construction of a block of 2 classrooms office and store Primary schools JSS (Difficult Terrain)

LOT-5,        Construction of a block of 2 classrooms office and store Primary schools JSS (Simple Terrain)

LOT-6,        Construction of 3 holes of VIP Toilets to ECCDE and Primary schools

LOT-7,        Procurement ECCDE Games equipments (Swing, Seesaw, Mary go-

round and Slide)

LOT-8,        Procurement of two seater pupils and teacher furniture to ECCOE LOT- 9,                Procurement of two seater pupils and teacher furniture to Primary

schools

LOT -10,    Procurement of two seater pupils and teacher furniture to JSS

Requirements

1. I.            Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission,
2. II.            Evidence of Registration with Yobe State Tenders Board.
3. III.            Company Audited accounts for three (3) years
4. Three Years Tax Clearance.
5. V.            Experience/technical qualification of Key personnel
6. Evidence of Similar Job(s) executed In the past and evidence of successful complexion.
7. Equipment and technology capacity.
8. Annual turn-over,
9. VAT Registration and evidence of past VAT remittances
10. X.            Evidence of payments of PAYE and other withholding taxes due for the State.

Collection of Tenders Documents

Interested Contractors are to collect their Tenders Bids Documents at YBSUSEB Headquarters upon payment of non-refundable fees of N30,000.00 only for lot 1, 2, 3,4,5,6 each, and N50, 000.00 only for Lot 7,8,9 & 10 each, payable to the Secretary of State Tenders Board, Ministry of Finance, Damaturu and obtain the Receipt

Submission of Document

The document should be neatly packed in a sealed envelope marked “CONFIDENTIAL TENDER BIDS FOR LOT …….” should be delivered not later than 10^th February, 2012, address to:

Notwithstanding, the submission of tender bids document, YBSUBEB is not;

1. I.            Committed or obliged to include any company in the exercise or award contract to any contractor or agents or associates.
2. II.            Will only recognize and correspond with duly authorized officers of the companies through individuals or agents or associates acting on their behalf as duly works registered with Yobe State Tenders Board.
3. III.            Reserves the right to reject in part or whole tender bids package.
