Invitation for Pre-Qualification for the Construction of Roads
The Jigawa Sate Government intends to undertake the construction/rehabilitation of roads across the State under Roads development and rehabilitation Programme, and is hereby inviting for pre-qualification of reputable Civil Engineering Companies for undertaking of the following Road Projects:
1. Construction/Rehabilitation
i. Construction of Birnin Kudu- Sundumina-Kwari-Nafara-Dangoli-Kiyawa Road.
ii. Construction of Mallam Madori – Munkawo – Dolen Kwana – Garun Gabas-Madungunsumi – Maiso Birniwa Road,
iii. Construction of Babura- ‘Yarkirya – Kuzunzumi Road.
iv. Rehabilitation of KwanarAuyo-Auyo-Kafin hausa Road.
2. Asphalt Concrete Overlay
i. Rehabilitation and Asphaltic Concrete Overlay of Achilafiya – Dandi Road.
3. Scope of Work
The scope of work for the project shall include but not restricted to the following: i. Site Clearance
ii. Road Works and Pavement
iii. Bridges. Culverts and Drainages where applicable
iv. Any other works related to the project as shall be directed.
4. Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents
Interested Companies are requested to submit pre-qualification documents including copies of the under listed to the Ministry of Works and Transport, Dutse Jigawa State on or before 27th September 2010
- Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission
- Evidence of Registration with Jigawa Stale Works Registration Board
- Tax Clearance for the last three (3) years.
- Evidence of financial capability and Banking support.
- Company’s profile including names of key professional staff and their resume
- Evidence of availability of updated construction equipment
- Evidence of relevant experience and good performance in similar project
- Annual Turnover.
- VAT Registration certificate evidence of remittance.
