Invitation for Bids for the Supply of Office Chairs

A key regulator in the financial services sector intends to acquire 23 units of Swivel Chairs and 46 units of Visitor Chairs for its Executive Commissioners, Directors and Head of Departments respectively.

 

Interested Bidders are hereby invited to quote for same in a sealed envelope addressed to the Secretary of the Major Tenders Board, with the above title boldly written on the top right corner of the envelope.

 

The Chairs must comply with the following specifications:

 

Swivel Chairs:

  • 3 units of High Executive Swivel Chairs with armrests, metal frame on rollers, 3 point adjustable, full high back rest w/o/crown, leather cover black.
  • 15 units of High Executive Swivel Chairs with armrests, metal frame on rollers, 3 point adjustable, full high back rest, and leather cover skin.
  • 5 units of High Executive Swivel Chairs with armrests, metal frame on rollers, 3 point adjustable, full high back rest, and fabric cover black mottled.

 

Visitor Chairs:

  • 6 units of High Executive Visitor Chairs with armrests, Chrome base, full upholstered, leather cover black.
  • 30 units of High Executive Visitor Chairs with armrests, Chrome base, full upholstered fabric black mottled.
  • 10 units of Visitor Chairs without armrests, swing foot black metal frame seat and backrest upholstered, fabric black mottled.

 

The quotations should be delivered at the office of the Director of Administration on Second Floor of SEC Tower, Abuja on or before 10th April 2012. Successful Tenders shall be required to deliver the Chairs at the Commission’s Head office.

 

Pre-Qualification Requirements:

Interested Bidders should include in the submission:

  • Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
  • Full details of the Company Profile
  • CV’s of key personnel, showing experience technical qualification
  • Evidence of remittance of Staff Pension contribution
  • List and verifiable evidence of similar jobs previously handled, stating the values, clients and reference persons.
  • Tax clearance for 3 years
  • VAT registration certificate.
  • Full office address, GSM numbers and contact person (the sealed envelope should also bear the contact information)
  • Company Audited Accounts for 3 years

Invitation for Bids for the Supply and Installation of 5 Nos. 100 KVA Perkins Generators

A key regulator in the financial services sector intends to acquire and install 100 KVA sound proof containerized Perkins Generator for each of its zonal offices located at Kaduna, Port Harcourt, Maduguri, Ibadan and Onitsha.

 

Interested Bidders are hereby invited to quote for same in a sealed envelope addressed to the Secretary of the Major Tenders Board; with the above title boldly written on the top right corner of the envelope.

 

The Generator must comply with the following specifications:

ENGINE:

  • FGWLSON Perkins Diesel Generating Set 100kva sound proof rated at 100kva.
  • 1006-TG2A  Mechanically Governed to run 1500RPM, 380/415 Volts, 50HZ-3phase/N
  • Foreign built containerized.
  • Heavy duty fabricated skid type base frame with anti- vibration mounting pads.
  • Unit mounted tropical radiator with engine driven blower type fan.
  • Electric Starting System with Heavy-Duty lead acid type batteries and battery charging system.
  • High capacity air, fuel and lubricating oil filters.
  • Fuel feed and returned lines from engines to edge of the base frame.

 

Control Panel:

The control panel should be equipped with:

  • Instruments: Voltmeter combined Tachometer and Frequency Meter, Hours Run Meter, Coolant Temperature Gauge, Lube oil Pressure Gauge and Battery Voltage.
  • Controls: Start/Slop key switch, voltmeter phase selector switch (7positions) Ammeter phase selector switch (4 positions) and Circuit Breaker
  • Shutdown Protection Devices with indicators for: High Coolant Temperature and low Oil Pressure. DC and AC Wiring Looms: DC and AC wiring Looms Utilizing industrial type Multi Point connectors, thus permitting fast faulting and simple retrofitting of alternator or remote control systems.

 

The Engine should be closely coupled to a suitably rated Leroy Somer or Stanford alternator which produces 100 KVA continuously without limitations to the hours run day by day.

 

The quotations should be delivered at the office of the Director of Administration on Second Floor of SEC Tower, Abuja on or before 10th April 2012. Successful Tender shall be required to deliver and  install the Generators at any of the Commission Zonal offices.

The Federal Ministry of Environment with the support of the African Institute for the Environmentally Sound Management of Hazardous and other wastes locate in South Africa, is implementing the Inventory of industrial Hazardous Materials (Tannery and Pulp) in Nigeria. The project will last for 12 months.

 

The Federal Ministry of Environment is therefore seeking for a project consultant who is also an Accredited Environment Consultant for the project.

Scope of Work:

  • Assessment of tannery and pulp industries in Nigeria on the basis of waste characterization of hazardous raw materials used, end products and waste generated
  • Awareness creation and Inception workshop for Stakeholders.
  • Development, production, distribution, and collection of questionnaires for data analysis from tannery and pulp industries in Nigeria.
  • Data collection and analysis.
  • Workshop on the validation of data.

Bauchi State is one of the four selected states in Nigeria benefiting from the DFID supported Sanitation Hygiene and Water in Nigeria (SHAWM) Project.

 

This project aims at improving access to safe means of excreta disposal, adoption of key safe hygiene practices, and ensuring people consume safe water year round in all rural communities of the three (3) selected projects LGAs in Bauchi State.

 

In line with the above stated project objective, the Bauchi State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA) is seeking to engage UNICEF ‘D’ Field Office pre-qualified drilling and civil engineering firms to construct water supply facilities in rural communities of Dass, Gamawa and Warji LGAs of Bauchi State.

 

Accordingly, UNICEF ‘D’ -Field Office pre – qualified drilling contractors are invited to obtain bid documents from the office of the General Manager, Bauchi State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA), Dass Road, Bauchi, Bauchi State, at a non – refundable fee of ten thousand Naira (N10,000:00) only. The Government of Cross River State through the Ministry of Environment intends to improve on its waste management capability by carrying out a number of studies on solid waste.

 

Pursuant to this, consultants with proven experience are hereby invited to submit expression of interest for carrying out any of the following studies:

a.)        Waste Characterization Study of Solid Waste generated in Calabar Metropolis     (Calabar Municipality and Calabar South).

 

b.)        Study on Transportation of Solid Waste from points of waste generation (e.g. households, markets, shopping centres etc) to final disposal sites in Calabar Metropolis (Calabar Municipality and Calabar South), Ugep Urban, Ikom Urban, Ogoja Urban and Obudu Urban.

 

c.)        Study and design of a recycle village tor each of the following areas: Calabar Metropolis (Calabar Municipality and Calabar South), Ugep Urban, Ikom Urban, Ogoja Urban and Obudu Urban.
