INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TENDERING EXERCISE FOR VARIOUS SUPPLIES AND CONSULTANCY SERVICES IN 2010 STATUTORY BUDGET FOR THE FCT URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING TRIBUNAL
(A). The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) through the FCT Urban and Regional Planning Tribunal (U&RPT) has a provision in the FCT 2010 Statutory Budget under listed procurements and is hereby inviting competent and interested companies to submit Technical and Financial bids.
(B) PROJECTS
- i. Procurement of four(4)Utility Pick-Up Vans
- ii. Procurement of a Saloon Operational Vehicle
- iii. Procurement of Survey Equipment.
- iv. Maintenance of Computer and IT Equipment
- v. Procurement of Library Books and periodical
- vi. Procurement of Computer Materials
- vii. Maintenance of Office Building
- Maintenance of Office Furniture
- ix. Upgrading of Local Area Network (LAN) with procurement of e-accounting, software and 5No Laptop Computers.
(C) TECHNICAL (PRE-QUALIFICATION) REQUIREMENTS
Interested companies must forward copies of following documents and the originals to be available for sighting during the tender opening.
- i. Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Articles of Memorandum of Association.
- ii. Audited Accounts prepared by a Charted Accounting Firm.
- iii. Tax Payment E-ticket and Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years.
- iv. Verifiable documentary evidences of similar jobs successfully executed within the last three years.
- v. Current Bank Reference and Statement of Account of the Company for the last 12 months.
- vi. Letter of Authority to cross check the Company’s Account.
- vii. Interested companies should have up to date returns with CAC and note that due diligence could be conducted.
- An affidavit in line with the provision of Part iv, Section 16, sub-section 6 (e-f) of the public procurement Act, 2007.
- ix. Letter of Introduction of an authorized representative of this bidder with his/her sample signature and position in the company.
- x. The Bidder should show evidence of registration with the National Pension Commission and up to date remittance of employee pension fund contribution.
(D) Collection of Tender Documents
Interested Companies should collect tender documents from the office of the Secretary, FCT Urban and Regional Planning Tribunal, No. 11 Kabale Close, Wuse Zone 3, Abuja, upon the presentation of evidence of payment per lot of N10,000.00 (Ten thousand Naira only) non refundable Tender fees into Treasury Revenue Account at Fidelity Bank (Central Area) Account No. 051503010000426
SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS FOR PROJECTS:
The Technical and Financial bid documents should each be sealed and labeled (Technical or Financial bids as appropriate) separately, and the two envelopes be put in another envelope that should be sealed and labeled at the right corner as Technical or Financial stating the name of project in each case. The tender documents (Financial bid) should be submitted in three (3) copies (one original and two other copies) and all pages are to be dully endorsed by the bidder. The documents should be deposited in the Tender Box at the Office of the Secretary, FCT Tenders Board, (former Public Building complex), Room 043, Area 11, Garki-Abuja, not later than 10.00am, 20th August, 2010. This tender is for a period of Six (6) weeks. The representatives of the bidding companies are invited to witness the opening of the tenders on the same day at Tenders Board Office, Room G9, Archive and History Bureau Buildings, Area 11, Garki – Abuja, by 12:00 pm.
NOTE
- The representatives of the bidding companies and members of public especially Civil Rights Organizations are invited to witness the opening of the tenders on the same day at 2:00 pm at Room G9, Archives Building in the office of FCT Tenders Board but should adhere to the Code of Conduct for procurement observers issued by the Bureau of public procurement.
- FCTA is not bound to accept the lowest or any other tender.
- Bidders are not allowed to bid for more than one lot.
