The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development invite interested and reputable Contractors to submit pre-qualification document for the Supply of Items / Equipments that are approve in the 2010 Appropriate Budget.
Supply of Items /Equipments:
LOT 1 – Visually Impaired Equipment
LOT 2 – Physically Impaired Equipment
LOT 3 – Pac mate (Talking) machine and other Accessories
LOT 4 – Purchase and Installation of Generator to the Nigerian
Farmcraft Centre for the Blind (NFCB) Isheri-Olofin, Lagos,
LOT 5 – Braille Equipment and Materials
Construction
LOT6 – Construction of Pavilion Building / Sports Ground at Nigerian Farmcraft Centre for the Blind NFCB isheri-Olofin, Lagos,
LOT 7 – Construction of Poultry Building 2No, at Nigerian Farmcraft Centre for the Blind NFCB Isheri-lofin, Lagos.
All interested Contractors should submit the following;
- Company’s Profile
- Evidence of having executed similar projects
- Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
- Evidence of Tax Clearance for the last Three (3) years
- Evidence of Financial capability from a reputable commercial Bank
- List of relevant and verifiable equipments
- Evidence of key personnel together with their qualification(s) and experience,
- Three years Auditors Report
- Any other relevant information that will be of help in determining the Firm’s suitability for the work.
Since the Pre-qualification and the full tender stages are to be run simultaneously; this advertisement serves as a notice for both pre-qualification and the “PROPER TENDER”
Interested Contactors are to collect tender documents at the presentation of receipt of payment of N15, 000 (Fifteen Thousand Naira) only as the tender fees.

Tenderers are required to submit pre-qualification documents in a sealed envelope marked in Capital Letters at the Top Right Hand corner.
Financial Bid Lots. All enclosed in a bigger sealed and waxed envelop, All tenders are to be submitted on or before 11th January, 2011 by 12 noon. The Bids will be opened on 12th January, 2011 at 10: 00am at the Ministry’s Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Federal Secretariat Complex Phase 1, Abuja.
- Only the financial bids of the pre-qualified bidders shall be opened for tendering exercise.
- No return of fee shall be made to any disqualified bidder.
- The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development reserve the right to reject any document it considers doubtful and will not enter into any litigation in respect of this advertisement.
