Invitation to Tender for Pre-Qualification for Years 2011/2012(Merged) Tetfund Intervention in Normal and Library Development Projects
In compliance with the Due Process requirements of the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru hereby invites suitable qualified and interested Contractors and Suppliers with proven competence and experience to apply for Pre-qualification for years 2011/2012 (Merged) TETFund Intervention in Normal and Library development Projects listed below:
a) LOT 1- Construction of 1 Storey Academic Staff Office Complex.
b) LOT 2- Construction of 500 Sitting Capacity Lecture Theatre.
c) LOT 3- Construction of Entrepreneurship Development Centre.
d) LOT 4- Construction of Block of 4 No. Classroom.
e) LOT 5- Supply and Installation of Furniture for Academic Staff Office Complex.
f) LOT6- Supply and Installation of Furniture for Lecture Theatre, Entrepreneurship development Centre and Classrooms
g) LOT 7- Procurement of Library Equipment.
h) LOT 8- Procurement of Textbooks for science and Engineering Programes.
i) LOT 9- Procurement of Textbooks for Business and Management Studies Programmes.
j) LOT10- Upgrading of Library Automation and Subscription of Electronic Books
Pre- qualification Requirements
The Pre- qualification documents should include:
- Evidence of Incorporation documents/Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
- Company Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3)years (2010-2012)
- Company Audited Account for the last three (3) years (2010 -2012) Certified by a Chartered Accountant/Auditor.
- VAT registration and Evidence of Remittances in the three (3) years (2010 -2012) to be attached
- List of Similar, Verifiable and Successfully executed Projects on-going by the Company with Letters of Award and Completion Certificates, in the last four (4) years (2009 – 2012) only. Letters of award and interim Certificates of payment should be attached for Projects that are on-going.
- List of Managerial, key Technical and Administrative Staff of the Company which should include names, curriculum vitae and copies of Certificate for each key staff.
- List of Equipment owned or on lease by the Company relevant for smooth execution of the project. Evidence of Ownership and pictures with company logo is an added advantage.
- Evidence of PENCOM Compliance.
- Evidence of Community Social Responsibility (if any).
- Original Document should be available for sighting on demand during or after the opening of pre-qualification documents.
- Registration with Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru.
- Evidence of Registration with Niger State Public Procurement Board.
13 . A Sworn Affidavit that none of the staff of the procuring entity is a former or present Director or Shareholder and has no any pecuniary interest in the bidder and that all information in the bid are true and correct in all particulars.
Submission of Pre-qualification Documents
Pre-qualification documents should be bound in wax-sealed envelope with “Pre-qualification as Contractor” written at the Top Right Hand Corner and addressed to:

Niger State Polytechnic
P.M.B.01, ZUNGERU.
Should be delivered into the pre-qualification box in the Registrar’s Office, 1st Floor, Administrative Block, Niger State Polytechnic, Main Campus, Zungeru not later than 12 noon on Monday, 8th July, 2013.

1. Submission of Pre-qualification documents to Niger State Polytechnic Zungeru is neither a commitment nor an obligation to award contract/supply to any Contractor/Supplier or his agent.
2. Advertisement for the invitation to prequalification should not be construed as a commitment on the part of Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru or Shall it entitle any Contractor/supplier to make any claims whatsoever or seek any indemnity from Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru.
3. Due diligence would be followed as all documents submitted would be verified. Past Executed works, Contractors (‘s)/Suppliers (‘s) Offices, plants and equipment may be listed for verification. Any discrepancies found would summarily disqualify the Contractor.
