Invitation to Tender
1.0 Preamble
The National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos, in its desirous to continue upgrading its facilities to rehabilitate the edifice to its past glory, in strict compliance with the Federal Government Procurement Guidelines hereby invites experienced, reputable and registered contractors/suppliers to bid for the under-listed projects under its 2013 Capital Projects.
Lot I- Purchase and installation of lighting Equipment in cinema Hall I
Lot2- Purchase and Installation of modern sound Equipment in Cinema Hall I
Lot 3- Purchase and Installation of lighting Equipment n in Cinema Hall II
Lot4 – Purchase and Installation of Modern Sound Equipment in Cinema Hall II
Lot 5- Purchase and Replacement of Electrical/Electronics Parts
Lot 6- Rehabilitation/Repairs -Electricity
Lot 7- Rehabilitation of substation transformer and installation of SMI-Automatic change over switch
Lot 8- Procurement and Installation of digitalised Visual LCD Equipment and Video Syncronization Devices.
Lot 9- Tiling& Ceiling of Entrance “B to C” Offices & Floor
2.0 Guidelines for Qualification:
The prospective contractors/suppliers are expected to submit their company’s Corporate Profile containing the following information/documents:
- Current Certificate of Incorporation by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
- Evidence of Registration with National Theatre
- Tax Clearance Certificate or the past 3 years
- VAT Registration Certificate
- Evidence of Relevance Experience
- Evidence of Financial Capabilities.
- Evidence that the company has fulfilled its obligations to Pension, Social Security contributions and Industrial Training Funds (ITF) as required by Pension Reform Act 2004 and ITF Amended Act 2001.
- Evidence of Tax identification Number (TIN)
3.0 Method of Application
The Tender Documents should be in sealed envelopes and marked with the title of projects of interest as appropriate separately for each lot (1 -9). Any envelope not appropriately labelled by specifying the lot will be rejected.
The package (lot) number must be indicated on the top right hand of the envelope and addressed to:

All Tender Documents should be submitted by hand and deposited in the Tender Box in the office of General Manager/CEO, National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos, not later than 20th May, 2013. The opening date of the Bid documents will be Tuesday, 21st May, 2013.
3.0 Please Note:
The National Theatre is not obliged to include your company on its list of contract award and reserve the right to verify the claim by your company.
