Invitation for Tenders
1.0 in compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007, the Public Service institute of Nigeria (PSIN), pursuant to its mandate of manpower development, is desirous of engaging the Services of competent Companies/Firms for provision of reliable Security Services and Management of Residential Facilities (Maintenance/Running of 135 Rooms’ Guest Charlets/ Hostel).
2.0 In the light of the foregoing, the institute hereby invites interested and competent Companies Firm to apply for the provision of the following:
(i) Provision of Security Services within the premises (Phases I and II) of the institute.
(ii) Management of Residential Facilities (Maintenance/Running of 135 Rooms’ Guest Charlets/ Hostel).
3.0 Scope of Works:
The scope of works for the projects include but not limited to:
(i) Provision of 24/7 security vigilance within the premises of the Institute, etc (ii) Management of Residential Facilities (Maintenance /Running of 135 Rooms Guest Chariest/
4.0 Tender Requirements
Prospective bidders are expected to possess the following minimum criteria:
i. Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
ii. Satisfactory evidence of tax payment or tax clearance certificate for the last three consecutive years and VAT Registration Certificate including TIN No.;
iii. Evidence of experience as a prime contractor in at least 3 jobs of similar nature within the last 3years (with provision of letters of award and Completion Certificates)
iv. Evidence of personnel capacities, including list of key personnel and years of experience.
v. Evidence of financial capacities with a letter from any reputable Bank;
vi. Evidence of possessing adequate Equipment Capabilities for the jobs, details of which are contained in the prequalification documents;
vii. Evidence of registration with PENCOM and remittance
viii. Any other information to prove the company’s corporate and technical experience and capabilities.
5.0 Submission of Tender:
Completed tender documents should be returned by hand on or before Wednesday 4th April 2012 by 12.00 noon, in two (2) hard copies and enclosed in a sealed envelope marked Tender for “Provision of Security Services” /or/ “Management of Residential Facilities”
6.0 Opening of Bids:
The opening of the bid document shall commence by 1:00pm the same say i.e Wednesday April 4th, 2012 at the Institute’s Conference Room, Kubwa Express way, Abuja.
