Invitation for Pre-Qualification
The Federal Polytechnic Bauchi wishes to invite for pre-qualification for the following Services:
(A) Year 2010 Education Trust Fund (ETF) Board of Trustees (BOT) Special Intervention Projects
1. Construction of Twin Lecture Theatre 750-Seater Capacity each, making 1,500 overall seating Capacity and Construction of Office and Toilet Block
2. Procurement Lecture Theatre Seats and Office Furniture;
ETF Project No. FPOLY/Bauchi/BOT-SP/ETF/10/02.
B. Re-advertisement for Pre-Qualification for 2011 Capital Project
1. Construction of Roads and Drainage on Campus
Pre-Qualification Requirement
1. Evidence of Incorporation by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
2. Company Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years (2008, 2009 & 2010)
3. Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2008, 2009&2010)
4. VAT Registration and evidenced of VAT Remittances.
5. Verifiable evidence of previous experience in a similar job in the last 5 years with copies of:
i. Letter of Award of Projects
ii. Interim Valuation Reports and Payments
iii. Certificate of Practical Completion
6. Financial Capability from a recognized Bank
7. Evidence of Compliance/fulfillment of statutory obligations to employees of the Company with respect to pension
8. Evidence Community and Social Responsibility.
9. Experience/Technical Qualification of Key Personnel with copies of Certificates
10 Equipment and Technology Capacity
11 Sworn Affidavit that none of the Director or Partners of the company has been “Convicted in any Country for any Criminal offences relating to fraud or financial impropriety”,
12 Sworn Affidavit indicting whether any Officer of Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the Company.
Note: Application for Pre-qualification shall not be construed to be a commitment on the part of Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi nor shall it entitle any person to make any claim and or seek indemnity from the Polytechnic, by virtue of such person having responded to this advert. Consequently, Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi shall not enter into correspondences with unsuccessful applicants.
Submission of Documents
The documents are to be appropriately registered with the undersigned and to be dropped into the TENDER BOX, situated at the Rector’s Office, in a sealed envelope marked “Project Title” at the top right corner of the envelope, not later than 12:00noon of Thursday 18th August, 2011.
The submissions are to be opened at 12:30 pm of the same date at the Council Chamber of the Polytechnic and all applicants are invited to attend. Please note that this is not an invitation to Tender and only Contractors that have been Pre-qualified will be invited to Tender.
